Dtox9 para adaca
It's a sokker thing. Once players start becoming usefull, sokker finds a way to make them useless again.
Form really is the biggest pain of all within sokker.
Imo, form should only have 5 levels and stamina should have 18

The issue with form is that it's dependent on the previous level of itself so you often see players that struggle to break out from low form.

You'll see a player going 17-16-17-13-10-7-5-3-0-0-2-0-1-2-0-1-4-7...

It's logical that you start from the previous level. But it's not logical that it can go from top form to 0 in a couple weeks just to sit there for seasons on, while he still improves on his skills, but because of the low form, he plays terrible all the time.
It's not logical to see 50% of world class players play like they are noobs, ''forgetting'' how to use their skills correctly. Imo, low form might mean less scoring or slower reaction, but PM is not a skill where, in low form, a player suddenly forgets how to read the game.

You could say that about any skill - striker always knows how to kick the ball, midfielder knows hot to playmake, defender knows how to tackle.

Except it’s not true and there were cases of players who suddenly dropped in form and while before world class, suddenly looked like someone took their skills away from them. Torres and Higuain forgot how to finish at Chelsea, Bonucci defended terribly when he moved away from Juventus etc.

Form is not only physical, it’s also mental and so on.

I have a young player who was divine form and every week he went down and down until tragic and the highest he goes is poor, and returns to 0, hallucination.
Tired of it already. I'm also a senior team coach, and I can tell you that my 3 best squad players are always on Tragic Form and I just can't do anything with them. One big delusion they haven't fixed it yet. These are players who play at least 2 games a week!!!! so why????????????

geston?? maybe you can answer ?

That's my point as well, some math model formula malfunctions when form hits zero and it takes a lot of random dice rolling for it to go up, in CS terms :D

Works both ways, players also stick to top form for a long time

I'm sorry. I was dilusional to think there was something wrong with the form. I hope you can forgive me. I must be mad to think form is working bad.

I never said there was nothing wrong with how the form works. I just pointed out that:

a. your argument (that certain skills are not affected by form in RL) is not valid
b. form sticks to both sides of the spectrum and stays there, not only the low form

So the question is whether people actually want to really have high fluctuations of form (sometimes 0-5, sometimes 14-18) or most players in form around 7-11 (since 0-18 is min/max that would be the medium).

Obviously it's not possible (as in: it won't happen) to have every player in top form all the time.

Vision is not affected by form imo. The execution of passes is another thing.
But the thing that annoys me the most is that stamina only has 11 skillpoints while form has 18.
I never understood the reason for that, but surely, having stamina reach to superdivine, while restricing form to a lower amount of skillpoints ( like 11 or 6 f.e.) and with less impact on the general skills of the player, would imo be a much more balanced solution and also more immersive. As it is now, sometimes low skill players in high form outclass high skill players in low form. Such a thing is totally unrealistic! Imo, form is something that changes the odds between similar players, so f.e. a divine defender in high form against a divine tech striker in low form. The duels will be much more in odds for the defender. But having a good technique striker with high form outclass a high level def in low form for 50% of the time is just nonsense.

The trick part is to change that towards all existing players.

imo decision making, i.e. playmaking in Sokker, is one of the most affected skills when you're out of form. Just how you don't make best decisions in work/life when its not your day.

You wrongly associate bad form with bad physical shape. In sporting sense form is more of a mental thing. If its logical for something to be less affected, it is pace. Mbappe may play poorly in some games, but he doesn't magically become noticeably slower.

Yes, depending on talent he needs to have ~16,5 pace at mid 19yo to reach superdivine ~end of 27 yo from GT alone.
Are you making a striker of mid out of him?
