Asunto: Injury length
27 days and 25 days
both in my friendly yesterday :(
both in my friendly yesterday :(
Info I've gathered so far:
- Injuries over 30 days are very rare (just over 3% of injuries)
- Injuries over 40 days are incredibly rare (1/83 so far and counting)
- There is as much chance of getting a slight injury, as there is a 8-29 day injury
- mean average injury length is 15.23 days. The expected average was 15 days. The lowest that count could have been was 14.61 days (using 1 day slight injuries) or 15.99 days (using 7 day slight injuries)
- the median injury length is 14.5 days
- the most common injury length (not counting slight) was 11 days, the least common were 22 and 14 days (for injuries less than 30 days).
Of course, this may change, but the figures are remaining quite steady with what I have so far.

12 days.
btw - are you factoring in the people who are no doubt posting days, but not adding days in between when they haven't logged on? eg logon on thurs and state x days for an injury that happened the saturday prior

It involves adding and subtracting.

Not currently. Undoubtedly there is going to be a margin of under-estimation, but I won't work everything out until I've got a bit more info.
id say 5-10% will be 1 day less, so i would add just a little onto the total, but still keep it around the 15-16 days mark
Today, I get:
Slightly injured -> 3.5 days
17 days
12 days
Slightly injured -> 3.5 days
