Terrible decision

This final probably brought up the issue with our 'best managers'. Wdp still relying on the old guard and the huge experience those players have, Piotr with capital P, showing he's nothing but a bazaar trader that will never learn from his mistakes and he always believes he is just 'unlucky'.
Wdp will probably drop. But the fact that Piotr is lined up to take the top place is the ugliest alternative for the English leagues. Wdp managed to smother any attempt to win anything for the last 10 seasons, became admired, respected and hated for the right reasons. Just like Ferguson's United.
I have my personal views and reasons to say that Piotr will not be the same sort of flag bearer for the English leagues. The guy is just as charming as the chatGPT he's using. And as a sokker manager, he is average. He will ruin everyone's experience on here, but unlike Wdp, with their tactics, he will do it with his transfers.

I think the era of anyone dominating this league is probably coming to an end for a while. I don't think anyone has the consistency to do what Thamesmead have done.

I have definitely broken the records for England now and am the most decorated side, I probably wouldn't have been if Gibbage hadn't restarted the game.....although it's impossible to know, because I did stop playing myself for quite a few years whilst just running the youth school. This period of success has also gone on longer than I thought it would, I did plan for it, but not for this long. As for Piotr, I actually believe he will be come the next team to beat and will have done so by building an extremely good set of trainees like I had done originally and I do believe he deserves some credit for that......and at the same time he is a very good tactician. Piotr also must have a lot of money in the bank, which I don't any longer.....this season currently I am up by £33,000 only after a final appearance in the Champions Cup and also the FA Cup.

Piotr has (had?) a ridiculous amount of money in the bank. So he can pretty much buy the league for a fairly long period of time as doubt anyone else can compete with that financial clout. Although he has spent a fair amount of money, he's dropped points on a fairly consistent basis so hasn't built a side miles ahead like yours at peak.

Just remember, that had I not decided to start afresh I'd no doubt have bounced straight back and won more titles so the "I stopped playing for ages" works more than one way :P. The side I sold off generated a serious amount of money.

Anyone can achieve probably just as much if playing down in the bottom leagues for ages and just train and sell. Let's not make it like he's a genius. He's not.

Although to put things into perspective, if both of us carried on the same rate of spending, if piotr spent 0, we'd probably both be dead before spending more money than he has.
