I've just looked at my game in more detail now on my laptop, and i had hoped the game would be clever enough to replace the 2 gaps in my starting 11 like for like.

i.e. I had a DEF slot and MID slot blank, but it put a MID from my bench in the slot for my DEF but with MID orders :/ right in the middle of my back 5 :/

Oh well, i couldn't be bothered to actually select 11 players so it's my fault :D
