Excellent youths or higher doesn't mean a whole lot, since the skills end up being somewhat variable. Some incredibles are duds, are after all.

Plus, a seperate thread smacks of elitism, and that irritates me.

Right, because a well distributed excellent pull can be more worthwhile then a poorly distributed formidable pull.

Excellent PULL: one more week and it probably be a Formidable one: he was popping every 3 and 4 weeks in this pattern.
