Asunto: »[Junior]USA Youth Roll Call

2007-03-08 17:25:53
burton,

I am seriously thinking about trying to pick up Claude. He is old, but if his talent is 3 weeks he should be popping right along well into the 24/25 age range.

Gah it is just hard to pick up a 20yo trainee. Who here thinks a 20 yo with 3 week talent could one day be a serious national team candidate? I'm thinking nobody.....

robfol,

What kind of talent does Quincy have?
2007-03-08 17:45:40
Yeah that's a tough one Billy. A backup maybe? I don't think you'll have to pay much for him.

I don't know...
I just crank out the youths, you guys train them.

Oh BTW,

Just found out that I have an unearthly youth pull coming in 21 weeks. :)

I will never buy a 20 year old trainee. Never.
2007-03-08 17:50:34
yes that is my rule too. But at the same time, I am lacking a good USA talent to train. And do not have a 3 week talent on my entire squad. Bleh, maybe I should just buy me a multi million dollar trainee sometime next season.

Just bought me a multi-million $$ trainee. Sigh. Have no money with which to buy players to beat you. That will be my excuse. Truly.

I'm hating the ages on all of these 3 week talents. I'm so eager for the rebirth of Stokes, but I never can find the right guy. How I wish I would have picked up Jamal Patterson.
2007-03-08 19:23:50
good things come to people that don`t know, and don`t know how to train them :)
2007-03-08 19:24:37
i trained stamina for the first season, noobish of me , if i would have trained striker , now the things would have been different.
2007-03-08 19:25:38

If he's actually a 3 week talent, 17, with those stats, i don't think 3 would have been obscene. How much would you pay for Jarhead two years ago?
2007-03-08 19:57:38
I've been lucky with my youth school, so I don't spend much on trainees.

I recruited a brilliant assistant coach today.

now my coaching staff is near perfect:

youth coach: Magical

Main Coach: brilliant
Assistant coaches: 3 of them all Brilliant
