Not a bad match against the Norwegians, the result didn't match the effort.

Must be due to the top notch strikers they have.. :)

Quite possibly, could also be a lack of finishing from our strikers too ;).

sorry, that wasn't the tactic I was going to play but as a result of the downtime :@, we ended up getting stuck with it. I usually set things more than a day before the match but with everything that had been happening this week I hadn't gotten a chance.

As it was I was lucky enough to get 1 minute to make a few player switches.

So I apologise for that but I wasn't impressed by the way the server went down for 7 hours.

I think you've every right to be annoyed about the server and even moreso that (according to me) your game started an hour earlier than it should have done.

When you consider both matches, I don't think I could have been much more unlucky across the 2 games. Against Norge we didn't deserve to go down 4 - 0, infact most have been saying we were the better side.

Now this, the game we got done but it might not have been that way had the server not gone down. The server didn't even go down during peak periods, so that worries me even more.

No-one to monitor at between midnight and 7am so if it goes down majorly there's no-one to fix it. Another problem that comes with only having 3 people run it :@

We may have grounds to request the match be re-played. But such is life. Sometimes things don't go your way, eh Dave?

We might have grounds but I'm sure there would be some excuse like I should have set them earlier etc, so I'll bite the bullet and just live with it. Rather disappointing but the past week and a half has been rather horrible for myself except for a bit of fortune on Sunday.

As a few will tell you, if you knew me, I'm "usually" extremely lucky, so this is rather a weird situation to be in.

We've got Italy next week, and I'll try and arrange a few friendlies with other nations for the next few weeks as we can't make the next stage now.
