It was always going to be tough. We've been punching above our weight for several seasons now. You can only milk so much out of the resources we have.

yeah, just been that kind of a campaign, nothing has gone our way.

Maybe next week against Italy we might get fortunate, but I think that's asking a lot.

Not getting to set your tactic sucks. Life happens, and its not unreasonable to think "I've got all day Saturday to do that".

As it was, I did think they deserved the win, but we definitely had enough chances to score, heck if we shot when we should have we had enough chances to win if they didn't finish quite so well.

i'm pretty angry with Byers and the amount of indecision he had!!

I'm going to work him to the max tomorrow, despite the slight injury, if he fails me again, the whips will be coming out.

well NZ theoretically still have a chance. They require a minimum of 3 goals win against Peru to jump Peru, and then they need to pick up 10 goals on Chile and Chile still have Lietuva to play.

as far as the Byers indecision, i believe its something int he tactic because newhill did a similar thing the week before in the exact same position

I was referring more to the fact that "life happens" irregardless of your online virtual game duties, so its not surprising that cometer didn't find the time to set the tactic and lineup earlier in the week.

Yeah well I got issued an assignment pretty much due with in the week which took myself about 20-25 hours to complete, so that's where my time went. Very rarely does that happen so yeah I was banking on the Saturday morning as I knew what I wanted to use against them, but it wasn't to be.

I'll have the tactic set for Italy well in advance as usual, as I'm back to normal routines now.

Just got to find a way to make our strikers convert better.
