Still Australia needs one or two classic central mids, as Veart isn't that good anymore.

Im going with Pondeljak all the way. And because he is so irreplaceable in my team, he is still popping every 4-5 weeks which is great :)

Yeah, no denial from myself. We're still short in quite a few areas. Still you can only play with what you've got and Veart still makes the list. Similar things with Broxton and Pilic as well who have been around since virtually day 1 and are still floating around in the team.

You guys needs someone like Norway's Osvold. He made our game today as well as Skogheim in def.

hopefully with me planning on training central mids and a few good youth pulls, we might have a pretty decent one in the future ;)

Not a clue as to why Byers is performing so bad in the NT compared to his numerous brilliant performances and lack of indecision in league/cup =/

Been trying to work out whether it had something to do with my tactic the other week so I changed the strikers positioning when making this one, to see if that improved things. Didn't seem to do anything differently :(.

IMO it's tactics. Exchanged with cometer with screens how do you place Byers when near and in the penalty area, maybe that's the way.

Ask me about what :s. Oh the thing you mentioned above about exchanging things which that was the first I had heard of it. Will think about it, not sure which method it will be yet but if I was to do it I'd probably use the former method.

do we have any more idea of a draw for this season, and what the limitations are for each match?

This week 18-8 we play Ireland in a 1st XI match and next week 25-8 we take on Venezuela and the type of match is yet to be confirmed. It's difficult to organize a full fixture list due to all the different competitions running, world cup, U21 world cup, mini world cup etc so it's really been a week by week thing. Hopefully after the qualifying finishes for the U21 we will have a more concreted fixture list.

I still plan on different type matches so a few U21 matches, 2nd division and below match and a competition match towards the end.


We take on Ireland this week, the tactic has been set and expecting a good game. Aim is to get over this drought of scoring and come away with a win. King, Garland are both out whilst Nikas still in low form.

Not much more to say until the kickoff now so hopefully we can come up with the win.

Mind to find someone to play as fast as possible because there is always one NT that doesn't play...

yes I'm aware but it's highly unlikely we'll miss out :p.
