So it's not a DB in SA. Update there take up to few minutes (depending on db size)

It's not, a lot of the time goes more in to ranking, adding and removing players ie the comparing and thinking part, but there is definitely a bit of a time sink entering the data.

When I do it week to week (via SA), it's normally about an hour to all of the above, the big issue was I hadn't updated for quite a while, especially all the new players that have been pulled since

Well Im gonna update like 4 times a season.... not much happens within 3 weeks, should be enough.....

Id would be so freaking Nice if one the databases would be made auto update-able now it can pull all the data automatic

You can create whatever kind of database you want. It's completely up to the NT manager.

I found updating weekly allowed me to always use the best players at the time as 4 weeks just means the same people always at the top (as it's about 4 weeks per pop), whereas in the weeks between, someone else pops and sneaks their way in to the 1st XI over someone else, especially if there are a bunch very similar in skills.

I know there are plenty of NT managers who just search the common programs made by skill points for each position. Pretty suboptimal but thats how they choose to manage the side.
Others will put the work in once a season and they are the only players they use. Some people only follow the top 10 for each age but don't realise just how many people they miss out on who weren't top 10 1 or 2 seasons ago.

Really it's up to the NT manager how they want to do it

As with last time at the start of the season, Below are the A and B squads for each age group (5-3-3) - yes I intentionally can't count :D

Remember that even if your player is not in this list, it doesn't mean they are far off as sometimes 1 secondary skill can be the difference of 4-5 places.

There are repeat names in this list, which just shows how rounded/good those few players are.

I have also highlighted when someone is playing up a year level due to their skills

World Cup Qualification Draw is out.
I will let adaca expand on it more but it is looking like a great group, possibly the best we have had!

Uruguay U21 - rank 14 - rating 58 - very beatable with a new manager and only 73 managers, didn't make the world cup group stage last season (knocked out by Mexico) and rated 1 point above us
Australia U21 - rank 25 - rating 57
Ukraina U21 - rank 43 - rating 52 - new manager, rated 5 points below us, similar number of users
India U21 - rank 64 - rating 48 - experienced manager, 5 users (at least 1 very dedicated user)
Prathet Thai U21 - rank 74 - rating 41
South Africa U21 - rank 88 - rating 40

Ratings from above are taken from the last 5 or so rounds of last season (either their best or mode of them)

From Uruguay to Prathet Thai, they are all in the second half of their basket which is fantastic. Pulling 14th from the top basket and 43 from the 3rd basket is a huge boost.
But like any qualification phase, the sokker gods can sometimes throw some curve balls

Didn't end up with the Asian Cup victory unfortunately, players just couldn't put it in the back of the net and a lot of shots went to our MIDs instead of the strikers.
Looks like things went downhill after we went down 0:1 and we changed tactics but that happens in sokker,

So not quite the send off we would have wanted however we had the most successful World Cup we have ever had, so I will take that over getting my 3rd/4th/5th Asian Cup (I actually can't remember now).

Now to hand over the reins to adaca, good luck mate. Starting the season with 50 ranking is a decent place to commence

Not ending a season or campaign, weeks of a dynasty... for now.

The only match for your ability to get the most out of a game is your ability to galvanise the training community to build a capable squad each season. Your updates of where every player sits makes sure we're taking on the right players, not letting them go unnecessarily and also not training duds unnecessarily.

Well done. Enjoy the extra time you'll have now, not being nagged for updates. :D

Yeah the group looks very promising. And once again I get things served, this time stats :D

Ukrainia and Uruguay Are obviously the two other candidates for qualifying, but we must be careful in not losing points vs India, as they have a very dangerous striker with 10k eu wage and a U21 goal tally of 19 goals in 34 matches and of course he is superdivine form. Certainly not what India normally would have..

Our first opponent Uruguay however doesnt seem to have a proper goalkeeper after their recent gk turned 22 today, the two keepers they used today only have around 70k eu wage, and performing at around 60 mark... also several of their key players Are not in great form, it looks promising for the first match, but they are still a strong opponent, because they have good depth in squad (except gk position)

Thanks for the confidence shown in me, ive had a long day with my son and was up in the night to buy Hackneys player, so im too tired to write anything more now, then that i hope to live up to your expectations

Oeh yeah, this saturday, my first match will be a friendly with Lietuva. Im very glad i found a friendly agreement with them, as they are with new manager who never been NT coach before, small nation, high ranking.

And tired me just wrote like 15 mails to the most important mids and att for this season about training plans, i will write to def owners tomorrow..... the squad is very imbalanced, for instance we have one striker with 12 striking, one with 11, one with 10, rest is 9 and 8..... and its the ones with best tech and pace that has 8 and 9...... so we need to improve on that part, very fast

So our usual standard then :)
