Asunto: MONEY
(3000*3 good assistants)+(1500*22 players)+(.75*3100 stadium seats)+(15000 head coach 2skills unearthly ((could go 8k with one unearthly)) ) = 50k a week
this budget, high quality friendlies, training 10 defs mids or 6 atts who you purposefully bought to have a need in the same skill or two, and most importantly doing your homework getting good at tactics by making your tactic flow and look exactly the same way as the best managers in the game (this most important task is free of charge by the way) will put you on the road of success

that and in C league, don't be looking to make big transfers, Heck I think the most I've spent on any one player as of now has been like $655k. And that was just a few weeks ago.
Ya, I definitely think the most important thing is to get to B league. Until then I dont think that it is vital to have great coaches and spend money on a junior school. you dont start seeing a profit from juniors for a while, so there is no use having them until you promote and have a little excess money to throw around. And also it is not extremely difficult to promote with there being bots in the b league if you try in this game as there are rarely multiple teams in the same c league that are able to compete .
oh promotion, well obviously trying...i will get a qualifying match since i drew with the team who came down from b-league last season...
and fro...i was doing that the last quarter of last season (when i started), now im in a friendly league with 1/2 b, 1/2 c leaguers. i have consulted with friends who began long before me, dego2007, krepa, merion, ect...they all regretted not beginning a junior school earlier.
also, i think i have maximized my head coachs per unit cost, unearthly pace, tech, str...for ~19k. 3 asst coaches ~2.5k each and an exc junior coach for ~9k.
although i was complaining, i see where i need to be to compete with the low level b teams, so i am sort of overextending to prepare myself. right now i am pulling average marks of ~33, with the hopes of bumping that up to 35-38 by seasons end.

if youre going to promote for sure starting a jr squad now isnt a bad idea, i was speaking more for people who just start and probably didnt have a shot this season or the next
true, but i wouldn't say its def...an unlucky draw and i could be back in the dungeon for another season :)
oh yes, and while i'm here a question:
the program inputs the last position a player plays, i.e. player with att orders on sun given mid orders on wed, said player looses att training. when training pace, does it matter if you switch orders?
thanks guys!

No, it doesn't matter if you switch orders. Pace trains everybody who plays. As long as a person plays 90 minutes he will get full training and if he only plays part of a game he will get partial training.
I got promoted into B league in my 1st full season. I did get into some debt, but no too crazy. I think that spending 30k on junior squad in C league is ridiculous.
30k in C league on a junior squad is ridiculous. =)
Put it this way, I just finished up my 3rd season in B leagues and it was only earlier this season that I opened my school to 30 places. =)

I disagree completely. If you have 30 YS players that will come out at VG or better (unless as Fro said somewhere else, they can come out at 16), they you have 30. One decent pull a season pays for the YS costs for the entire season. The position you don't fill in the YS is the potential $5m sale that you give up.
in C League Jon? You get like $50k a week in sponsors...
Plus what, like 20-30k in coaches, and another 10-20k in player wages? So add in the 30k of the YS,
at your bare minimum there thats -30k a week. Sure toss in a home match and you get all of what? 15k?(Only if you sell out your stadium which facing the number of bots with sub 1600 rankings?)
So, yes, I do agree to a point that you could run a 30person YS IF you already knew what you were doing as in your previous team got banned or something.. But for the majority of people who just start out, they see that $250k going down steadily week by week and it convinces them to forgo a 30person YS.

i dont think this discussion is practical.. it takes like 4 seasons to get 24 keepable juniors and u should be out of c league by then anyways
and the 'potential 5m sale'.. ive only sold one guy for over 1m right out of my youthsquad over 4 years of playing this game and a couple hundred pulls.. its a good thing im good at all the other controllable aspects of this game =P

Jon, shouldn't the idea be that if you get a pretty good youth player pulled out of the YS you keep that player and not to sell him in order to pay for the costs of your youth squad?
For ex. I pulled out a nice GK who by the time he was 21 had his goalkeeping at magical. He is now 22 and his pace is solid and passing excellent and his form is superdivine. I could potentially sell him for a couple of millions (just for reference his value is 1.7M) , but it would make my team worse. I believe that he is by far the best GK in B league and helps my team a lot.

i dont see the point of what you just said. you training your pull has nothing to do with your juniorsquad.. the idea is how much money you would make back if immediately selling guys you pull
i don't really remember how long it took me to get to 30 spaces in youth school, but i've been losing money pretty much every week since starting. of course, i come from the jonandabby school of player development, so i have made a killing selling guys I either bought for less than $2k or pulled from youth school. if you have the players that will come out like jon said, you should keep them.
