I quit because of 5 min ads before my own match!!

If I have to choose between 5 minutes dealy or a worse game, I know what I would choose.

Open match and let the 5 minutes count down while visiting the forum or do something else on the pc. 5 minutes is nothing.

In nowadays fastpaced life , younger generations are not used to this kind of delay and not willing to accpet it, there are soo many alternatives(not talkig about quality gaming, but fastpaced gaming) and there wil be more alternatives every year.

You have a point el pupe about the importance of the community, the forums and interaction in games like Sokker are very important for the game, and to keep it alive.

I agree with you about the younger generation. It would be a great step if devs cancelled the 5 min waiting for the new users for 2-3 seasons, for example :)

The sad news is that >80% of users use adblockers so there's no income from those ads that users were supposed to watch for those 5 min.

DEVs should have thought it over a little better before implementation to make sure the delay does more as what it does right now. Many sites use delays that can be skipped after some payment, sign up, or after a couple of seconds when all is read, or something like that. But often a bit different and better as in Sokker so it makes more sense (and probably also make more money).

yes...the ads idea was a good one...but not those static ones...like the 5 sec youtube teasers ...and with a skip button... I want sokker to make money I would watch the hole ad...but not by force or by making me wait 300 seconds wtf??? its 5 min of my life :))


Do it interesting not for the cash!...get some advice if you can no do it!
