Subpage under development, new version coming soon!
Asunto: »7170 managers in Sokker!
I think that won't be enough. I think many new managers never watch a match but decide not to login anymore because of other reasons.
my big desire for next season? all abandoned clubs reset!
There is no 2nd life here. We can only hope that it will not get closed soon.
There are no improvements, no new stuff, the plus is often activated monyhs after payment - admins can't ecen contact the owners to do a simple activation that they are paid for!!
There is no hope whatsoever and no point in srarting to play sokker. In fact I'd advise yge newcomers not to play. At this point it's just a waste of time, sokker will die before they reach a decent level with their teams.

Has anyone who knows how to create this kind of online game thought about starting something like sokker 2 that we can move to. Although I think main problem would be history of clubs and players that were developed trough years.
Pitty, I belive that main chance is gregs will to sell this game that was not shown :/

There already is sokker 2, much better even. It's called footballstrategy.org, was launched two years ago and has 613 users. The market for this kind of games is dead.
footballstrategy.org is not Sokker 2, it doesn't have the Sokker vibe when visiting the site. Something should be made with the same vibe, the same Sokker feeling when playing the game. A bit more modern as Sokker in graphics so it will also attract new managers but not too many drastic changes in the beginning so many Sokker managers will try that new Sokker game. Best if it is made by some Sokker managers so (older) managers know who these Sokker 2 DEVs are.
A problem is DEVs are not creative anymore, I think that's the problem. All have copied basic online manager games and added some features from other online manager games. But noting is new anymore and isn't interesting anymore for the new kind of online gamers. New 'online' gamers are used to apps and want to do more during the day when playing games, so Sokker should have some ingame option that are interesting for a couple of hours a day and somehow 'force' you to come back like app games do. DEVs should look at popular app games and use some interesting game features that can be implemented into online manager games. Sokker should do the same but without messing up the normal game play so old managers can go on like always, new managers can do the same or more. No need to reinvent the wheel, others have done that already, just use the best possible features.

no
the problem is that people no longer play such games on PC/laptops
they play them on tablets/mobile phones

and they're modern young people, this game is for another era (it seems like a game for 90's)
I like this game more than any other game :)
It is a part of my life.

Yeh, basicly that's what I mean :P It would be best to make it look (more) modern, but for example with an option to use some sort of Sokker skin. Also the same skills, same training style, etc to give that Sokker feeling. A completely different look and graphics, different set of skills, completely different layout, ofcourse different colors etc etc etc won't help to make Sokker managers start playing Sokker 2 as if it is Sokker.
Some changes should be made, for example a more easy start for new managers, for example an easy way to choose a start tactic (from ±5 basic tactics) and start line up + right players on all positions in 1 click, but ofcourse also with the normal tactic editor for more experienced managers who want to make tactics on their own. These kind of options that would make it more easy to start playing Sokker in simple clicks instead of hours of searching the forums and rules, and asking around. First this should be implemented in Sokker, but DEVs do nothing.
Ofcourse apps is what gamers want, but with a well working website on tablets and mobile phones, browser games could have a small chance to keep more gamers as nowadays on Sokker.

May one day someone will buy sokker from Greg, and will be a future for sokker
Anyone knows how much could be the sokker value at the moment?
I'd guess it's worth around 10k euro. The owners won't sell it though.
