Asunto: »7170 managers in Sokker!

2016-01-26 00:27:08
6-month plus for new users would work and promote the plus tool. Sometimes I believe greg not only don't care about the game but also he wants the game to become a cult game for so few and strange people.

i think the Junior school is a real problem right now, the devs could better the rate of good players. one or two good players in a year???, it's really hard get a good player in transfer. Still have time to save the game. But no much time left!

If the ratio of good players were too low, then why is there so many nations that can win the world cup.... :)

and to compare your school... you have had 2 u/21 nt players in, about 7-8? seasons of juniors.... 120 colombian users, 40 players each 2 seasons in u/21 nt, that means each "year" should have 20 different players..... 20 players multiplied with 8 seasons, gives 160 players in the U/21 squad in that period, that divided with 120 colombian users, gives that in 8 seasons, each user should have 1,33 players in the u/21 squad... you have had two..... if all managers were given a star each season, nobody had to sell or buy, and all teams would be the same, because there would be a dramastic overflood of all good players.... the thing about being a manager, is not what you get randomly put in between your hands from the game through a juniorschool, but about managing your squad with sales and buys, and training, so that it becomes better then others.....

and no, it is possible to go to 50+ rating in 4-5 seasons, and possible to go to 70+ ratings in 9-10 seasons..... so it is not hard to get good players...

if the game costs like 10k euro it is nothing for even only one person to buy. I mean I don't have any spendable money at the moment but even I could invest at least few hundreds of euros. Come on people you are living in countries like Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and so on. Your minimum salary is 1000 euro while mine is 250.... :)

There some talk here about Sokker 2.0
I made a try last year, collecting some interesting coders from the community, i invited them to a external forum (Slack app), started to discuss some of my ideas but no one really put down any work to make it happen. I presented a design to them, or call it a vision. I can upload it here also,

If anyone in the forums wants to invest, or knows someone who does, then we could create Sokker 2.0. (Kickstarter or other fundraising would work maybe also, users could donate instead of buying plus for a round).
This design is already old in my head, i would do it a little bit different now, but it would still have the core elements of the concept.

I upload some screens here on some of my ideas. The forum section to the right, and player list as "cards" that you could arrange their order. Player skills that you could see the development history by dragging a time line and so on..

Site Design,

i remade the players skills design after input from some users

If it is 10.000 euro i'll buy it, but I don't have any capabilities when it comes to development, so that will be costly..

Nice that we have higher salary but..., everything in our country is more expensive also.
To show you, i pay 1000 euro a month for my house only..., that is without electricity ( 150 euro a month), furniture etc... Other example: health insurance..., 150 euro a month..
You really have wrong look at The Netherlands, we are not that rich.

But to stay on topic, 10.000 euro can't be a problem for us all.
Problem is to find someone who can make this game running 24 hours a day on the right way.

We have foundations ( called voedselbank)that give free food to people..., otherwise they can't eat...
Of course there are poor countries and The Netheralnds is not poor, but the difference between rich and poor is growing and growing in The Netherlands.
We go the wrong direction if we look at this.

But on topic now ;)

kaká para Poey
one thing I can not understand is why the rules are not updated, issues such as the price of the stadiums, the height and weight, things like that still continue with the old, the new users are unaware of these issues
sorry for mi bad english

adaca para kaká
That is a matter of an inactive linguist then, because in english rules these things are corrected..... and now you say it, i can see that the danish linguist neither have translated the section about heigh/weight...

Can you look under admin page, who is the linguist in your country..... :) Then i will write mail to him.. :)

kaká para adaca
in my country there is no existence of any linguist!!! :(
2016-01-27 22:39:41
Yeah but what I am talking about is a real walk through of the game, where the user has to follow steps to complete his entry (Like the do in that game we don't mention here).

Now I understand :) Something like that would also be nice.

And maybe also a good idea is to give 1K (euros) login bonus each day, for the first 30 days
