It is what it is, a hobby of greg which made him a lot of money. And that money is spend on I don't know what, but not to keep Sokker up-to-date or real advanged implementations. A pitty because that is promised when buying Plus, money will be spend on new features.
I think it is ok to spend money on something else than new features in Sokker. But I dont think it is ok to have zero communication and no new features at all. This is the reason I dont spend on plus anymore.

One would think it must be much easy now because tools for development must have advanced rapidly.
15 y laters there s still have no competitor, its not a question of tools, but game design.
When they developed a 3D engine, which took a lot of time and improve nothing (the 2D engine was faster to load and clearer to watch) I realized that they had no idea how to improve this game.
When they developed a "mobile" game to be in the market trend and trying to make money, removing the tactical gaming engine and sokker community features, I realized that sokker owners had no idea why the players liked this game.
Then, when they promised to keep improving sokker after the "mobile" experience, I realized it was the end. They did not do anything but more than this : they lied to their community, and community is the gold mine in web.
Despite that 15 y later, they're nothing else than sokker. no alternative. Multi millions games, FIFA / FM manager can't compete : expensive, more hardware, not driven by web they can't build a strong community; sokker is cheap, lightweight, accessible. It was the direction.
The sokker community features have now become ironically its weakness, when sokker started losing managers, the slow death of the game began.

Doesn't hurt, but speed seems to have picked up.

There is always a hope mobile version was 2 weeks down and I thought thats it but now is back and running :)
I know many onlines free to play games with much work from the developers(not browser games)
and they don't have 10.000 people.
And they do often updates and keep the game alive no matter what.
This Poland guy need a psychiatrist and many months in clinic!

True. This is all about money here in this game. So if people won't pay plus any longer that is when the game will be finished off by Greg. Apparently still enough paying for plus I just stopped after 12 years, just don't need it any longer and can do without just fine. Since I don't get anything of support for the game it also makes sense.

For me it was the players faces. Man, how terrible is that.

For me, the best thing about sokker is graphic in 2D ( unfortunately 3D it was a bad idea ) ... so, because it is clear that soon will be game over, you have any suggestion about similar games ( regarding graphic design ? )
