Yep, I'd question the logic of advertising before improvements too. All they're doing is burning out a potential new userbase. You get 1 shot with new users, once they're gone they are not coming back.
I really think a discussion needs to be had about the name of this game. I've never particularly liked it anyway but after 20 years a brand always had baggage, and I don't think the Sokker brand is especially positive.
But that's something that should be looked at after improvements have been made. The game on the whole is in desperate need of a refresh.

This game is just for 30 to 60 yo Male...
NON young player wants to play a game that is SO SO SO LOW to grow.
when you begin in sokker, you have to do many many things.... AND WAIT FOR A LONG LONG TIME to improve your team.
Economics in this game is bad, the young school is a lost of money 89% of the time. every 2 or 3 seasons you can get something good, and train or make a great sale to have some income...
The only "Positive" thing about this game is the FORUM, and the 2d visionated matches.
try to get a unearthy coach... i never get one of those, and i spend in my 16 years on ths game, almost 10M trying to get one.
there is some things THE DEVS CAN MAKE SO SO GOOD, we (the comunity) give many many ideas HOW TO IMPROVE, but... still the same game.
2 only positive thing among this 16 years.
we pass from 8 to 12 teams per league.
we can train 10 players in diferent skills (before we can train MAXIMUM 10 players in the same skill.
ONLY 2 IMPROVEMENTS in 16 years i play sokker
...so there you have WHY there is no new users who wants to stay in the game

Lol I agree with the 30-60 age group think. No gen z gamer wants to deal with this nonsense.
It's just as bad starting new in 2024 as it was in 2005. I know, I just did it again last year.

Somehow need to find players, whose play with Championship Manager 0102 or Championship manager series, this is a similar game offline, but the sokker.org can be attractive for them. There are facebook groups...

how would they keep interest though? What's going to convince a brand spanking new player to play a browser (not mobile optimized) game where they will (country dependent) have a ridiculous disadvantage to start with. No clue how to set up training, what coaches they need, and so on.
"Oh hey, I'm a new player, maybe I should add 1000 seats to my stadium to make more money. Oh, there's a youth school. Maybe I should start that, makes sense, right?"
" Oh no, I'm almost bankrupt already. Screw this game".
I can tell you if I were in a large country already in sokker, I'd have quit months ago. I'm only working through all of these big disadvantages I have because my country is low quality sokker teams, even with 10-15 year head start. I have no idea why half the remaining teams even keep logging in, honestly.

Would be nice if they add a graph similar to PC Manager games (Radar chart)
Someone is probably more familiar to picture skill distribution/position calculator, rather than numbers.
Idk, how difficult us this to make.
And ofc: implement BMI

I started playing new manager games but they are not as fun as Sokker.(Trophy Manager and Matchday11)
Do you have any recommendations for games similar to Sokker?

I played not to many (good ones). It would take too much my time to play more at once.
I must admit, Sokker made some progress over 7-8 years! I quit playing 2015 or 16 after ca. 9 years. I came to see who is playing furthermore, and saw training reform, arcade matches, NT skill sharing... Make fun to play again! But player height and weight not implemented, new teams starting with 250k, crap trainers, crap players, too many bot leagues, rules not updated like 20y ago is a bit disappointing, if you ask me.

A lot of things can't be fixed without the devs, but tutorial can be done without them. Obviously, producing a quality tutorial and it’s distribution requires a great effort of coordination.
I'm thinking of the official rules too, which have not been updated and could be reworked by community. nothing, for example, about the amount of taxes (sometimes prohibitive) on the resale of players.
Which brings me to one last point: the community's effort, not to mention the inactivity of some admins, is proportional to the devs' lack of effort.

The community's effort is down to the devs. Most of us (and I include myself) either stopped trying or quit the game when we saw that the owners couldn't be bothered.

I have a company that is creating web and mobile applications. Would be useful to create an Android and iOS application about Sokker tutorial, thoughts and everything else?

Web pages are universal we don’t need particular OS or App. The hard work is not producing and publish web pages, but producing content, and translate for all languages.

lol, the only thing that keeps me around trophymanager is they do youth RIGHT.
I don't watch a single game though, tactics are pathetic and the ME is right there with it.
