Asunto: Transfer market gone crazy?

2009-10-30 17:39:35
Absolutely ...
2009-10-30 17:41:52
That's it.

It's all about priorities.. In this particular case it isn't about making profit, but about having a superb trainee, the best in his country. Other managers prefer profit.
2009-10-30 17:50:28
yup.. cant beat having a talented and well developed 20 year old.................

even if it means paying crazy money..........
2009-10-30 18:11:30
I've got them too. But you don't have to spend $12.5m for them !:)
2009-10-30 18:17:18
You have to spend 12.5m if you want the best 20yo in the world :)
2009-10-30 18:19:28
xD im sure he is not the best
for 100%
(editado)
2009-10-30 18:22:34
According to the Best-of-Forum he is so that's enough to make someone pay this price.
2009-10-30 18:35:02
I never put my trainees in the best of lists. I imagine most people don't. I also bought this guy for $10.5m

Age: 21

excellent stamina tragic keeper
brilliant pace incredible defender
formidable technique formidable playmaker
incredible passing weak striker

Comparison - +1, +3 passing, -1 defending, and +3 PM. Same tech.

He's about the same (or better) than the 20 year old will be next season, has a 3.5 YS talent, so will continue to improve just as fast. Did I underpay? :)
2009-10-30 18:38:28
no you did overpay, here is mine for 6.4M :P
i also doubt that bulgarian will be better in one season

Age: 21

excellent stamina hopeless keeper
incredible pace incredible defender
outstanding technique incredible playmaker
formidable passing weak striker
2009-10-30 18:39:32
It all depends on the advertising of the player. The price of the same player can be +-3M depending on this ...
2009-10-30 18:41:16
I like him (as you know). But you wouldn't sell me him for anything close to $6.4m :)
2009-10-30 18:41:39
Can you tell me what was/is the form of that player???16 levels difference is quite a lot ..
2009-10-30 18:45:06
hehe but this is another my player, i have never showed you this one xD
hopeless, but form doesnt change price of young players ;)
2009-10-31 01:04:36
I can tell you for sure he's not the best 20 year old in the game as I have a much better one :)

Several years later, it gets worse.

Ognyan Bratoev, age: 20

club: LittleAmerika

Transfers
History
, country: Bulgaria
value: 761 750 $, wage: 5 675 $
superdivine form, outstanding tactical discipline

very good stamina unsatisfactory keeper
incredible pace brilliant defender
formidable technique solid playmaker
excellent passing good striker

Current price - $12.5 MILLION

Come on, really.

About that player - I don`t think it gets worse. You guys clearly don`t know that user, who made that insane bid. I am actually surprised he did that. Skill isn`t actice in Eesti forums, howewer he is quite wise one. Just check his team, only youngsters with great values. That´s why I am surprised he has started to buy players so expensively. He has done that before, when he bought one Turkey player for the same amount. Bulgarian is clearly overpaid, I have a player who has 7 skillpoints more in all skills beside keeper and stamina. I wonder how much he is worth and he is also very close popping in 3 skills.

Some managers just concentrate on training - the results and titles aren`t that important. I actually think TPA should be done in that case, but I highly doubt it´s gonna happen.

I just sold a trained winger with 1M € loss. Estimation was that I would sell with 1.5M profit.

Market has gone cold.
