Asunto: Transfer market gone crazy?

2009-10-31 12:23:30
I just sold a trained winger with 1M € loss. Estimation was that I would sell with 1.5M profit.

Market has gone cold.

for old farts (25yo and above). somehow young players are going like hotcakes, even though some of them will almost certainly make you a loss after training

I better stop selling my trainees at an older age, then

(is this a economic recession like HT had one two years ago, after their userbase stopped growing?)

I'd say that the reason is that market is overflown with really great players who's price is slightly falling down. First those were defenders, then strikers, now mids.

Other reason may be in fact that many top NT teams have really great old players, so only supreme youngsters have the chance to be trained up to NT level, or above existing stars.

Third reason is, of course, male comparison of who has the bigger one.

a very complete analysis :)

Seems like prices are rising these days.
2011-07-23 21:58:39
People get more money typically these days through the ticket price changes for seats - and also don't have to spend so much money upgrading stadiums as you can increase seat prices and not worry about increasing capacity.

Not only that, there is a feeling in the air (TL) that is rejuvenating.

the tikeck pricing must hit soporters mod market is going mad its almsot imposible to get a good striker or a midfilder also is pretuhard to maintain a traing staf to produce players this plus the lack of good youngsters make a bomb to trasnfer market
2011-07-24 01:10:36
a good striker? mm make that it's almost impossible to get a 'normal' striker or midfielder to replace your older one for one with a future if you're somewhere in the lower regions.
this game is more like a bidwar game designed for the millions of virtual cash from those who have been around long enough and have lots of time to be online at the time where the bidding ends while the budgets for lower leagues where new managers start in allow next to nothing to be competitive.
2011-07-24 01:21:38
so buy some younger and cheaper player, train him and sell for millions ;)
2011-07-24 02:30:39
to be honest there is less need to invest in younger players since the update to youthschool screwed talents.
makes the game more boring as you cannot have a star player coming out in 5 weeks anymore. he can be incredible one week and then only formiddable the next week.... :/
2011-07-24 08:23:18
the problem is that the ones with obvious talent are also sold for too high sums so what's left is a gamble on players which are very young and might have talent which does not show yet. so it largely boils down to luck then and weekly checks of the progress to be able to find one which eventually can be sold for millions... meanwhile those other managers also invest in their high potential players which are more likely to be worth such prices.
