He is a bit below top..... I think its impossible to reach the levels you suggest because he is behind, Even he has awesome talent

I would train him as wing (pace, def, tech and pm)... I think there is No time for def...

DM definitly....he's got plenty of pace for the moment, I would do 1 season of tech first, and then passing and pm...he should pop at defender from GT twice in the next 5 seasons and definitly once in pace...he could be at least 4x16 with 14-15 defender at around 27 if the proper talent

I hope he pop up the pm randomly. And you have true about level 18 tech.
