Asunto: Sokker Asistente

I have no idea on how Sokker Viewer stores the data, but this week I easily imported an Excel sheet with players skills for a NT coach. Although it was a lonely week, not historic data

Anyways, if you manage to export the SV data into a text file, for example, that can be read by Excel, I can try to import it into SA

In a bunch of xmls (each week xml for players stats, xml for juniors, xml for matches played etc). Not sure if it is worth the effort then, thought that maybe something like that has been done before. Should have started to use SA sooner rather than when SV became useless for tracking training.

It doesn't store data in xmls. SV downloads xml files from sokker to 'xml' directory, but it doesn't care about them later.

SV stores all the data in one file, you can find it in 'db' directory, it looks like that:


I think it builds temporary database from that file every time you launch / update SV.

Yeah indeed, there is a .script file that does that so it is possible to gather data from either there or xmls.
@Terrion what data and in what format you would need to import training history for players (without too much of a work on your part)?

The format of every player is something like:

PlayerID=Name,age, ..., weekNumber1,skills, ..., weekNumber2,skills, ...

That is, all the history of a player is in the same line

As far as I understand from that capture, SV data places every week in different lines

But I'm thinking that it wouldn't be very hard to make a local DB with a table with that fields, then execute the sentences to store the data in the local DB, and then extract the data in the right format

I will write a description of every column in a file so that I can send it to every one who needs it in the future, not only you :)

That would require a specific programation that I don't think it's worth it since those players will get older and eventually you won't need their data anymore. We can use both assistants in the transition time instead

That's already in the configuration. Maybe you want a different configuration for your club and the NT?

Yes, I have being doing that since S.A is on.
But i have mix there training order since new syestem is up.

To be honest, i dont remember exactly what some players have train in past month, so theirs talent an train are wrong.

22y old system 5 pace, 23y new system 3 pace + some general and had pop to 17 pace...

Not sure if the national team players stuff is still working?

Since I've used this I've seen the database update once maybe? Now my players aren't sent to any database (as stated in the FAQ).

Am i doing something wrong?

I have the "Send players to their NTs" and "Accept players through an external form" both ticked and saved correctly.

Cymru players are sent to http://ntdb.sokker.cz/index.php

If you want them to be sent to SA I need to change that URL

If the URL changes then that means after I update my players in SA in my team then when I switch to the U21 team and update then their skills update there too?

No, they will be updated immediately, there's no need to update the NT
