Asunto: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

2023-01-22 16:29:22
Ahahaa funny how to kill a game and do all the contrary what active people are asking and giving as feedback on forums. Oh well time will tell how many of sokker users will stay, but no need to take out the crystal balls to see that with this kind of ''update'' they demotivated again the small community

They implemented the shortening of the season without thinking about the budget… it causes inflation, poor teams have no money to buy good players and now they can’t grow… rich teams are a little less rich…
Moreover, reducing the stadium income is riskier for small teams…

In conclusion, this reform will kill a lot of users and demotivate some others…

now they will fix it without a deeper analysis an economist is necessary!

Focus on other topics may also be placed

1. attract younger users!
2. Develop the YS, so it’s less luck dependent
3. Incentivize small teams growth, so they will stay in the game for several seasons
4. Improve the world cups and qualification interactions….
5. Reduce inequality among countries..

I think increasing the salaries is necessary. if now double money on income, then double expenses.
But, by doing just this, what they are encouraging, is to increase the number of farmers. Now training will be more profitable by percentage.

The game somehow needs to be more focused on winnings and now that rank is not affected by arcades, more international tournaments are needed, so there can be ranking points transfers between countries, otherwise it will be even harder for clubs in small countries

As long as they do not touch the ME in any matter to improve it for users, playing for titles is a waste of money and time.
So as long as the ME is not touched, farming is THE way to play.

+1

Devs have no vision.
One thing i dont understand, why play with economy... With time it will balance. New changes will kill lot of fun for small teams.

Also....why injury of (for example) 10 days isnt 10 days? For god sake, do math according with player age and make it wright!

If we want People to Play for Titles, then a Transfer Tax Increse is needed. That way you demotivate Farmers and Take Money from the Economy.

Tax can be proportional to an age range. F.E.:

20% for 16-20 YO
15% for 21-25 YO
10% for 26-30 YO
5% for 31+ YO

Obviously this is for Players from the 2nd Transfer onwards.
2023-01-22 19:05:38
All these ideas seem more thorough then what the devs decided to implement
2023-01-22 19:18:36
The way to encourage People to play for titles is to raise coaches wage. Not players wage.

since when top teams fighting for titles don't need top coaches, how will that not hurt them? ;)

also I'm not sure raising the cost of youth school [ys coach] is a good idea, people are already turning aways from ys [I have ZERO decent prospects, might as well kill all 14 of them, would lose 0.5m max in total...] - and we see that on the transfer market. low amount of active users, low amounts of youth schools = low amount of at least decent players

+YS can be very useful especially for relatively new teams, no need to raise the costs for them and make ys out of their reach

but of course, raising players wages makes ZERO sense, especially considering they were supposed to promote playing for results... hopeless ideas

well that's not really true, on the contrary, inflation HELPS smaller, less rich teams [at least for now]

ALL THE EXPENDITURES except for transfers have a fixed price that was set at the start of the game so with inflation, higher prices of players etc. now the coaches, player wages, building stadium, having youth school etc. - all of those are MORE available to new/weak teams so it's EASIER to improve in first steps...

it's also easier to make more money by transfers with training and selling

Devs could provide more stuff to spend our in-game money, not just raising costs, what about introducing QoL functions?

For example:
-Medical Center: This has been suggested before, a place where you can pay to get your injured players treated. This would help to reduce injuries time and give something else to spend money, to birds one stone.

some quality of life, just for fun:

-Trophy slots in the "My club" page, if you have trophies you can display them so everyone see them when visiting you, every slot for a price of course. People with many titles may want to show them.

-Paint the stadium option: Please make it, i for one would pay a fair price to get my stadium look with my team colors instead the always red, it looks like we all play on Anflied.

Those are just from top of my head, of course none will solve the problem, but wont hurt to have something new to spend the money here and there.

helping richest teams with 1st team injuries
helping rich teams that stay low, invest in strong youths and train them = either they'd get more money worth by treating injury or would not treat the injury at all

same thing with form, except for training part

the QoL options are nice, but these are all one-time payments, just like investment in the pitch...you did once and you forget about it, it wouldn't take the money out of the market, it wouldn't help

Well, depend on how is implemented, lets say the paint for stadium is temporary, you gota renew it every season, or after 1 month, etc, so it would take money not only once, but it will fall to the user to see the merit into keep spending on an aesthetic improvement or not.

There has to be much more decent youth players! Right now the demand is 500 times higher than the offer, so players go for astronomical prices.
With an addition of more youth prospects, the prices will decrease too.
The offer / demand ratio should be in balance. But the game is working towards an increase in demand but a decrease in offer.

Since the beginning the numbers were clear…Before changes we have in each season…

16 weeks of sponsors now 13… so increase sponsorship by 16/13

7 local matches… now 11 local matches… decrease tickets to 7/11 of the initial value…

Playing more matches per week requires more players… so demand for trained players also increased

@borkos inflation always punishes poorer teams and people in real life, sure they sell better one player… still They need 11 to line up

@dtox completely agreed quality of YS is too bad… that scarce supply is changing prices…

no it doesn't, not in sokker

I already explained it, you haven't responded to it

inflation in sokker is GOOD for small teams
