Almost one year (or four seasons of Sokker) gone since implementation of the new league structure, and still the numer of supporters is going down week in and week out...
This situation can be seen in all leagues where several of the 12 teams are owner-less (BOT) teams. The lower number of fans is due to this and has no connection with the reform of the league system.
Well...because teams in 1 league went up from 8 to 12, in some countries it means +4 bots...so yeah, it did influence it.
Of course this has a connection to the league reform. If you're playing in a country with just a small amount of users, this meant the addition of four more bots to the Premier League. Me - and all teams of other "small Sokker countries" - simply can't promote to another league that only consists of only "human" teams. Thus this is a big financial disadvantage for those countries to compete e.g. in the Champions Cup.
I've raised this in the forums a few times, other did as well. But apparently Sokker administration doesn't care about that. No improvement for (almost) a full year now and no official reply either has almost killed my motivation to play Sokker.

I thought that the decrease in the number of fans worked the same way even before the reform of the league. It is of course true that if only BOT teams were promoted to the highest division, the result could be a further decrease.
As for motivation: it's definitely not good to play against mostly BOT teams. Although if we look at the fact that in a more populous "sokker-country" it is incredibly difficult to win any cup, either the championship title of the 1st division or the national cup. For me, for example, participating in the Champions Cup remains just a dream. But my motivation doesn't stop. I love this game the way it is. I try to see the positive things and I think the league reform was a good change.

Magyarország: Number of users: 348
Obviously...for your country, as well as mine, it was a very good change.
But if there's only you and a few others, what does a championship really mean then?
If small countries are not prior, and I completely understand they are not, it does not mean you have to destroy them.
Solution:
Keep communities split up as they are now, combine x amount of small countries, by region and language so they reach an amount big enough so the 12 team league structure is at least challenging to play and ad an extra community forum for the new Fusion League.
It really doesn't have to be complicated, but at least give all managers an equal share of fun factor.

I don't think anyone wants to destroy the active users of countries with a small population. The reform of the league brought favorable changes for them as well. There are 11 home games in a season instead of 7.
On the other hand, related to motivation: as the captain of India, I can see exactly that the situation is the same there, there are 4 live/active users in the 1st class. Helping the national team can be motivating for them. Since the opponent is a BOT team in 16 games within a season, they can easily train players for their own NT and U21.
I think what you write about the merger of small countries will also happen.
And let's never forget that sokker is already much further ahead than before the reforms.

Well...that's the entire discussion here. It won't happen since the devs don't see any benefit of making time to reform these small countries into 1 larger group.
They are still looking ahead to the big group of new teams that will come when they are going to promote sokker on the net.
However...they have tons of work ahead, not even speaking about the ME, and they want to promote the game when the game is changed as they see it.
So that means only +-10 more seasons to play bots...and then they will promote and then there are going to be lots of new users...they hope.

@atila 11 home games but against week teams that is not any advantage
And with planed wage increase small countries will have more difficulty to survive ..
Reform for game speed with many games per week was bad thing since day one I claim it..
If we want a game that tactics and ME do not matter and just check scorers they yes they had it now. But sokker always was and should be about tactics...

I was thinking of the income of the +4 home games. There is also income playing against weaker opponents.
There is, but you cant fill a stadium against bots/1600 ranked new teams so we lose money relatively to bigger nations who have games against real opponents each week.
Devs should at least offer a chance to move teams to other bigger countries starting from the bottom or the like for dead countries instead of simply losing users...

Example ihave more income from friendly than from first 2 rounds in the cup ...
PS and on top they plan to reduce money from stadium...
t might be true that increasing training spots alone may increase current inflation on young players but If you also make youth schools better and if everyone gets better juniors as well
But you think make sense 33 lots, I think what is questionable about the argument is the number of slots that are suggested. One thing is true, training players over 24-25 years old is a waste of time. Maybe 10 is too few slots, but 33 slots not make sense.
Personally I still don't understand what the final goal of all the changes they have made is and those that are still missing. Maybe I have a little that feeling that you mention.
