Asunto: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!
I have had the same 10 players for advanced training for many seasons now and the game has become really boring as a result. I am in a situation where I can hardly make any changes.
Before, it was fun training 20 young players, testing new players, and finding new talents. I used to have many pops instead of just 2 every week! But playing at the highest level has its burdens. I feel like I am constantly forced to play the game in "the only legitimate way". Playing in the first division with all players above 30+ years and no young trainees, as many users do, is super dull.

Yes, you are right.
Some trading is part of this game.
Newcomers even need this to get to the top.
With less money in the game newcomers will be forced to keep untalented players....
This is no good idea, newcomers will suffer.

Playing at the top needs to be like this (you can't train the youngest players = you can't make the biggest transfer profit), otherwise new teams would never get a chance to reach highest league.
It is a good thing that it's very hard to maintain a top team for a long period.
A regressive tax is a fantastic approach if your goal is to stop managers from trading players like pokemon cards. Although it will definetely have upsides and downsides.
For positives: it will force managers to think more strategically and long term; more taxes = inflation goes down (bad for players but good for the game)
For negatives: transfer market will be more stale; less traders = less price regulation on the market

Talking about newcomers. My friend is not a total newbie. He plays for aroud a year a he just showed me the player he bought. Weak old player with only one high skill - pretty useless, but he wasted big part of the budget on him. I told him to immediately sell him again, because he did big mistake and now he is very limited because of it.
But now he will be punished twice for his bad decision. He will need to wait a month to sell him and he will lose lot of money because of the tax regression. Thank you antitraders regulations!

They could do progressive taxes on transfer income - first 10m you get per season at 5%, next 10 at 10%, after that 15% or smth like that. That way the tax increase wouldnt affect new/small teams.
Well it's not the games fault that your friend is a newbie and after year of playing doesn't understand the basics of the game
I agree with borkos, you did a bad job as a sokker mentor if he bought this useless player:))
I remember when I just started, I was hiring coaches and I didn't know that i need to sack them not to eat the money. I thought not choosing them is enough. I got like 50 of them and they nearly bancrupt me within first week :D you play and learn.

some people just do not listen to advice and need to learn the hard way. It is easy to mock other people for their bad decisions if you are someone who plays the game for almost 20 years

Specially for forum regulars, before a more official announcement is made, I am revealing some of the topics we are working on.
- the introduction of performance-based season rewards in place of sponsorship bonuses;
- a regressive sales tax based on length of time at the club;
- more places on the substitutes' bench;
- extending the possibility of logging in after bankruptcy;
- launch of additional international competitions accessible to a larger number of teams;
- addition of a player fatigue level and a change in the concept of stamina;
+1 for every topic. Great. You have the old app solution about the concept of stamina. I liked it.

sokker is so broken... TL, page everything.... my interest losing
Slavista:. It is your friend's fault for doing a bad purchase. It's not the game's fault.
The rules are clear. He should have knew better before making a mistake buying that player.

I did not see he did not make a mistake. I say that he is severely punished by the collateral damage of anti-trading restrictions yet he is not a trader at all.
I'm in a similar boat. This game is very unforgiving at the start. It takes a long time to really get income coming in. Out of my first 10 trainees, I determined 5 were worth keeping and i'm still in the process of flipping the rest, but it's hard to do with nearly a zero effective balance thanks in part to the financial reforms. New teams in American B leagues are all going to be hemorrhaging money if they try to do anything, really. I mostly knew what I was doing from a decade ago, and I still had problems.
I know they are hurting bigger teams more, but heaven forbid I would be naive enough to buy a couple of inexpensive old players who were good - only to realize their salaries would bankrupt me by season end. I haven't, but it's an EASY mistake to make.

I'm pretty sure the devs are deceiving us. The players height doesn't really matter, they just want us to think so. twice in a row my goalkeeper and the opposing player go to the air ball and both times the opposing player takes the ball.
My keeper 180cm
Opposing player : 170 cm
And my dwarf striker 162 cm win all the air balls
Wtf...
