Asunto: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

It doesn't matter in itself if you have 0/positive balance

it matters what level of team/staff/youth school etc. you have with 0/positive balance

at the moment it's too easy to have a top level staff, youth school etc. while being positive in the balance

I've had +3.5m euro balance, while playing in 5th league and having 2x unearthly coaches + 3x brilliant assistants + full youth school

Team: 70-74 mark

Staff: magical main, 3x magical second and magical youth

school: 12 to 16 places

IMO with this kind of staff etc. clubs shouldn't be able to make profit during a season, it should be at best around +/- 0
2023-06-19 22:29:12
they should rename the topic to "small changes are coming"
2023-06-19 22:37:33
The real changes are form, resistance, injuries, national teams, training sessions, the youth academy etc.

Then what would be the benefit of having such staff?
2023-06-19 22:49:52
The benefit is that you're investing to make money out of training / to train your players as best as possible

At the moment you have top level benefit [MAX unearthly coaches + top assistant] without a big cost for it

in other words: you can easily do everything at max level at your team and you're still making money every seasons from weekly finances [including stadium tickets, not including transfers]

That's what you can call good management! Every top manager in the world invests millions over and over again. Financial facts 1-0-1...
''mo' money makes mo' money''

But I relate that it is too easy to aquire and maintain top staff...
1-5 seasonal contracts can change these things, but it still must be profidable to invest in top staff.

Exactly - good/bad management, making decisions, investing in some things and not in others etc.

At the moment at low/medium level you don’t need any management - you can simply afford everything and still make money every season
2023-06-20 13:32:49
No...it's not because that level is easy for you to manage, since you have years of exp, that it is easy for noobs and beginners. For you...the exp translates in auto management. But new managers might need to learn those steps the hard way.

I'm not sure you understand me.

Of course for newbies it is demanding. That's the problem - it's the ONLY time it's a problem/demanding, when people don't know what to do and waste money, often become bankrupt. It should be the other way around - the start should be EASY.

And my years of exp [in terms of knowledge] have ZERO meaning here - from low level, with a decent stadium, you don't have to even look at finances - you can get top staff, top youth school etc. and you still won't go under the balance...

It's not "easy for me to manage" - I don't have to manage anything at all, I don't even check the weekly/season balance. I know I'm making money doing nothing.

Sure. When you've bought yourself a beautiful stadium, top-notch staff and a luxury pitch, there's nothing left to manage on this areas, its done. All this stuff doesn't deteriorate over time. Here's an example of what the devs could do.

But if we can make money doing nothing, we can also make much more money doing things...

Scouting the market for opportunities, managing your financial products (sorry, 'players') and making them grow with training programmes, that's how you can spend your time. Meanwhile, there's no point talking tactics or playing football.

The gambling economy isn't just rotten because we can make money by doing nothing, but because of the omniscience of its market system. And while all this is going on, owners of the game are looking for ways to adjust a speculative economy... by increasing wages. It will never fix anything.

This I like better than reducing fans going to matches. Stadium decay, ask the users if they want to renovate the stadium or lose some seats at the end of the season. Instead of taking money away from the game, approaches where you need to spend more money seems like a better approach. After all, the more stuff you have (be it big stadium, coaches, players... I'm surprise they don't retire at all even when that was on the card before I left the game), the more money you should need to mantain it. Incentives to spend money sounds like such a better approach than just taking away.

not agree with you , youth academy is very expansive and random , it's impossible to have it when you start the game and it's a pb

when changes on academy arrive ?
2023-06-23 10:20:00
Read correctly what I wrote - I wrote that the only time when finances are problem is beginning of the game [so your situation]. Later on you have money for everything.

I wouldn't wait for academy changes, they are planning to make it much more expensive.

Later on read: years. Until you make few seasons of trading.
they are planning to make it much more expensive. Read : much expensive and still poorly random.
