4-3-3 (with winger) and 5-2-3 can be very succesfull also.

I don't think it is so simple as you said.

433 is VERY fragile defensively when your opponent uses a high winger

5-2-3 is very fragile offensively when your opponent uses 5 narrow defs

and in general 3 ATT tactics are problematic because - in my opinion - the 3rd ATT doesn't give you anything extra [feel free to explain what he gives to you]

another negative is that most people or even NTs don't have 3x superdivine strikers [and strikers have the highest price so this is a very costly tactic] - so the 3rd striker is usually weaker than the 1st and 2nd [in skills or in form]

in other words if your 3rd striker is worse, then every time he gets the ball - your better strikers don't get the ball so you have lower chance of a positive outcome than you would have while using 2 strikers instead of 3. why do that?

3 strikers in high form with high defense skills and secondary skills can make any defense vulnerable..
They give more chances to score cause they increase team ratings by line..

You need 3 good strikers indeed to play with 3 of them.
I have been very succesfull with this tactic ( not at the moment because I am rebuilding my team).
You need strikers with specifik skills for this ( dont want to tell excactly what, because of competitors).

Against an opponent with a strong winger you can play 5-2-3.
You need to put the 3 ATT at the correct place to kill a 5 def defence.

I have been successful with 3 ATT as well, beaten Netherland at World Cup 5:0 with it :-)

But you still haven't answered why do you think 3 ATT is better than 2, what the 3rd ATT gives you that #1 and #2 don't.

Because I can tell you what using 3rd ATT takes away from you :-)

Nicely built 4-2-4 (2 WINGS) Works as well, when you play against suicidal 3-5-2 (without WB's)

I cant tell the reason why you can use 3 atts because i dont want my opponent to know.
But my succes with this tactic tells it is possible, in my opinion the best way to prove :)

Indeed, this game has many possibilities.
Playing the same tactic only is predictable also.

Yeap, there are many ways of playing diff tactics as well. 4-3-3 3 front can be narrowed together and depends if in MID or ATT order we could talk for days here probably the same goes with DEF and MID lines and WB's

No offence but you're playing at ~50 rating level, we're not talking about beginners level. Nobody plays "424" or "352" at higher level [70+].

Playing the same tactic only is predictable also.

but that's the beauty of 532 :-)

it has no real defensive weakness
it has no real offensive weakness [you can play it wide or through centre, low or high, you have 2nd striker for "2nd shots" etc.]

I'm not saying it's a tactic that will always win but it's the most wholesome tactic in the game, other tactics always have "holes" defensively / offensively / both

for example
433 - open space for opponents winger, def hole
523 - no place for winger, offensive goes through centre only, off hole

4 def low defensive can cover wingers. as well 352. usually it's depend more on lines height than composition. But for sure a flat 532 it's easier to setup. 532 winger it's not, because we should carefully setup the winger line height and we cover only the mid center like a 523, so...

Btw. I checked your last championship season

In games against good opponents [70+, places 2/3/4 in end table] you almost always changed the tactic to 532 :-P

obviously when you play for 75-80 and your opponent for 50-65 you can uses 3 ATTs... or wingbacks... or whatever you want because of the difference in players quality

4 defs theoretically can cover the wing, yes, but you have to be lucky with opponents tactic...

yes, low def line will work vs low att line of opponent, but you can be screwed if he uses a high att line

same if he uses intentional switches from side x to the winger side, while also having a wide striker on that side [the auto-marking will screw you up, either the ATT or WING will be left uncovered all the time, you'll get killed by crosses or through balls on that side after side switches]
