Good news - got the data to work on.
2024-10-04 23:35:43
well, simply go to Playsotre, type in "football manager" each of those that if free to download has at least 1M downloads, second lowest is 10M....

you dont need no fckin mourinho, just and app, with "Football manager" in description, and maybe an email to playstore operations so they would feature you for a week or sth
2024-10-04 23:42:43
Yeah, that's not how it works

Those with 10k+ downloads are the apps that are promoted, either on the stores or on Facebook/instagram/YouTube/tiktok/google ads etc.

There are hundreds if not thousands of managers that have under 1k downloads

If you search for something the stores will show you the most downloaded, highest rated & paid to be promoted games, that's why you see those successful ones.

I already told you that they DID create an app/mobile game that was based on sokker and available in stores for free... and it was promoted here among people who already like "this" game. It ended up with nobody playing it and less that 1k users. I think around 500 downloads total.

ed: after 1 year of being in the store the download counter shown "between 100-500 downloads". And sokker alone had around 10k users back then. Even them didn't care about it.

Sort out the game and make it attractive first, then advertise. You've seen what's happened in England in the last 2 weeks, getting people to join isn't difficult, it's getting them to stay.

And mobile is essential. You can't have a game like this survive in 2024 if it's not playable on mobile. That's just common sense.

Based on Sokker? Who thought that was a good idea? It's jus needs to be a mobile-friendly way of playing Sokker.
2024-10-04 23:48:48
10K downloads is on app that costs 4£ to just download and try it... you dont even know whats gonna be inside of it

ofc no one from here gonna leave for a new app, but app has to be connected to here, i can tell you straight away from this only fact that that app before was idiotically done...

Sokker is NOT a game that will do well on mobiles. It will be just helpful for current users. The match viewer is not compatible with mobiles, the tactic editor even if working would be a terrible experience for mobiles (maybe decent for tablets).

It's also a game with users who have over 250m euro on their bank accounts and play for 20 years. It's also a game where you need to wait days for anything interesting to happen. That's not a mobile game in 2024, in mobile game things happen when you log in. You do things, you watch things, you pay for things, you're only limited by "energy" that refills with time or with money on your credit card.

So yeah, creating a new game based on sokker was a better idea. Both would fail though.
2024-10-04 23:52:05
Sokker is a slow paced game, so it will never have the maintaining success like football manager series, not even close.
Also, it already hard to navigate your way on pc, let alone mobile...it needs a complete make-over for that.
2024-10-04 23:52:12
Things would have to be reworked. The fact is though, if I didn't have a pc I wouldn't be able to play this game. I'm betting that's the case for nearly everyone.
2024-10-04 23:54:16
Problem is that the moment you start re-working the game so it fits the easy-fast pace-something happening all the time standards of mobile games you will actually lose most of what makes the game actually interesting and "better" than other generic football games
2024-10-04 23:56:10
what u talkin about, i was watching my 2d game on my sony xperia1... pretty sure new phone will run smooth like no problem,
tactics editor is the tricky one but is also doable

there nothing sweeter than beating a cocky 250M dude
2024-10-04 23:57:38
anyway, no notifications, no user retention. bye.

I don't want massive changes, I just want it functioning. Go mobile doesn't mean you have to become a mobile game.
2024-10-05 00:17:06
its too complicated for huge mases,
but its good enough for more than 5k users... not even sure its 5k now... probably closer to 4

you cant tell me it wouldn't be the best football manager app it it all gets done...

"The fact is though, if I didn't have a pc I wouldn't be able to play this game." - Camus,
"I dont have a PC so i dont play this game." - John, George, Matty, Julius, Arturas and a few hundred million more...

ofc it would be a shame when ud find out ure a dude with 250M in bank, but and up in 15th polish league, once the shit gets real

it already is functioning on mobile, both phone and tablet via browser.

the only functionality it lacks is a working tactical editor (which will be a terrible experience anyway on mobile even if it fullscreens to whole phone screen)
2024-10-05 00:46:43
theres no notifications....

keyboard on a mobile screen has 10 alphabet letters horizontally,
im pretty sure it could handle 5 squares....

i know it will be terrible experience dude... think about it, 15th league.... wont have many excuses at that point
