Haven't thought about it in detail, so please don't shoot to heavy...

why not transfering the whole training system + games to the youth academy?

- youth entering YS are generated with visible skills.
- 10 youths are trained acc. to minutes played, you define training skills the same way you do for seniors.
- more training fun every week
- estimation of talent takes still about 3-4 weeks.
- 20 yo divine juniors are not worthless anymore. you can train them very selectively in the skills
- spending a training spot to 16/17yo seniors is not worth it.
- you define, when you pull them to senior.

other advantages:
- parts of the code could be copied
- easy to learn and understand as it is the same mechanism as for senior training
- still challenging: when to pull them to seniors and free a tainings slot in YS?
- more focus on senior training in senior squad
- all youths enter with 16 or 17y and individual birth week and stay up to 32 weeks

Camus para koka
I'm pretty sure I suggested this exact thing about a year ago. It fixes training and it fixes youth games.

Do you find it back in the ideas or developer forum?

Camus para koka
I think I put it in Bugs and Ideas but honestly I lose track of where everything is on this site after a few days. I think it was in a conversation with Geston and he was talking about ideas for changing the training system. He's generally very good at passing stuff on to the devs.

The aging of the players doesn't interfere with my idea because the whole point is to limit younger players, not the other way around. So if your player turns 22, you're free to keep putting him in the U21 slots. Which sounds weird, so the rule should be explained more simply as ‘You're not allowed to have more than 4 U21s and more than 7 U25s in your advanced training.’

As for the ideas of merging U21 and Youth - they will simply never happen, they require a lot more work and calculations, devs will never add additional advanced slots and they don't solve a real problem - they won't stop farming and and I don't think many people would watch their U21 leagues.

I've just found a thread in development forum and reposted it there.

There were indeed some elements posted by you.

And a lot of discussion of the usual suspects...

Btw, what do you think, Borkos and Dila... :-)

If everyone can train 10 youth / U21 players, then the farming will become an important part of the game. But if you have 20 U21 players, then you will be forced to choose which players you want to train. So farming becomes managing, which should be the exact point of the game, not as it is now.
You say it will never happen, but I can say the same about your idea. We don't know what the devs want.

I agree on having better rewards. The balance would come on being able to choose if train very young players o train 25+ and still be profitable. (as training always should give an economic improvement)

I expect profitability in younger ages to be much better than older player, but what I see now is training 25+yo is not economically good, and the problem is basically nobody wants to get good players at high price as it is not worth it to fight for a good place

But the solution might not be to increase rewards. I think adding more official (international) competitions in cup system could be a better first step. Teams going to champions invest because of reputation but going to a high stage might pay an extra investment in quality

edit: this is about the provious page, not the u21 training discussion

So you say:

I agree on having better rewards.

And then you conclude:

But the solution might not be to increase rewards

ok...

The solution is not only having better rewards, but imo, that needs to be part of the whole picture.

Geston para Dtox9
That always has to be a part of the whole picture.

1. Someday (don't know when) ther will be introduced 4th match in the week - international cup
2. So first of all we have to take care of tickets income in the first place
3. I'm saying "yes" to making post-season rewards higher, but still it has to be balanced with tickets income
4. If we give sometthing, we have to cut somewhere else
2025-02-24 19:07:54
Devs definitely don't want more advanced training slots, thats the problem :) Raul said that many times - more slots are not an option and they already increased the average number of trained players more than enough (in comparison with old system with 6 ATTs and 2 GKs max)

Cut by adding more wages on younger players rather then just give and take in Same area, otherwise you do nothing different.
