I wanted to ask two questions:
Are there any countries, even outside of the World Cup qualifiers, with 0 or at most one user. Why not combine these 2 or 4 countries and create a competitive league?

The second question is:
The match formation section has been modified several times with big updates. Would it be difficult to add a third tactic as an optional feature?

There was a discussion about merging countries and to my surprise, it wasn't dismissed by the people in charge apparently.

I've no idea about a 3rd tactic. I would think that any change like that would require touching the match engine, and I know they don't want to do that.
The thing about a 3rd tactic is that you'd still be limited by your original formation. You can't for example change a 4-4-2 into a 5-3-2 properly. You can change the shape but not the orders.

I would have expected a little crossover in the coding but if not, good.
As I said, I'm still not sure it's worth it given the limitations. If it can be done easily though, why not.

Sokker is also a game of tactics, and I've said it all. :-D
In my opinion, you will also use the third tactic.

It could especially mean something if you start out conservative but not defensively, and want to be able to change to either chase a goal or hold a lead.

Mids and defs can easily change places, mids can ok play att. Only taking atts further down the pitch is truly problematic unless its on the wing.

Yes this would be great. Just move around with as many tactics as you want to setup in the match. great plus feature

I'd love a 3rd tactic and would definitely use it but the issue I run into it

I'll often swap wings or sometimes switch to a diamond, but what I actually want is a proper change. I'd like to be able to take a striker off and put on an extra defender. Currently doing that gives me a defender with striker orders.

Put the att you want further back on wing. The wing on defmid. Your defmid in def. Problem solved.

Would you real life put an striker in center def :p No matter what you tell him.

You're assuming I'd even have a winger.

Putting a winger into defensive midfield is a risk. The reason they're wingers is because they typically don't have defending to play in that slot. You could just sub in a proper midfielder.

Defensive mid into defence is doable.

You've still got a striker playing wing though. Or somewhere in midfield.
