Some teams' fields are literally potato fields, even the ball bounces, there is a high risk of injury in those fields.

And what about an option to lend visitor's pitch?

Attendance will still depend on Home Team's Fan Club, Mood, etc; but you decrease % of Injuries using a better pitch.

That sounds like far too technical a fix for the staff.

It would be more than that. At 50k attendance I break 625 000 $. Divide that number by 2 and that’s what I take roughly from each cup home game. Obviously bots change this and I’d get less than this but I play bots 2 rounds before I’m into human users. So multiply that by 2-3 rounds and add a bit for the bot games and I’m taking at least 1 250 000 $ more than I otherwise would have from a cup run and that’s probably being conservative. That’s not insignificant.

Then throw in an even bigger league which has like 7-8 rounds and they’re probably making just as much if not more at the top end.

So if everyone is making more for getting to the cup that money goes to only one place. The transfer market. Prices rise. That’s not better for weaker/newer teams.

If you work out the maths properly (given I didn’t and just used educated guesses) I think you’d find the difference would be pretty significant.

Stop traders? Great, but will never really happen.

For a number of players this is a bank manager game, not a football manager game. And I assume these are also managers paying for Plus. Money or often the main reason wrong doing isn't stopped.

Im thinking on a new way to solve cup matches

How about your board intervenes and pay for 25% pitch maintance each time you Are pulled as home team and puts up xx.xxx temporary stands if your stadium is x.xxx small, that will be filled up after rest of stadium, but as the solution cost the board the places will only give 5 eu to the home per attendance

Income to small teams and bad pitch solved with realistic solutions also occassionaly used real life

if you all are concerned about injuries of trainees is cup matches, then just set up some old weak 1 euro players, lose your cup match and play friendlies with corner tactics.
issue solved...

And if you both want to avoid extra injury risk and play for cup honour

injuries are part of the game - pretty annoying, yet something every sk player has to deal with.

I think cup matches should be a separate source of income. For example, my team's stadium capacity is 60,000 people, my opponent's capacity is 3,100 people. In this case, as you know, when a match is played in a stadium with a capacity of 60,000 people, the income increases a lot. It is a good opportunity and a good source of income for lower league teams, especially in the first round.

Explained already why it isn’t unless you’re a club that is in its first season. Sure new clubs get more than they would but what are they going to spend it on? A stadium upgrade they don’t yet need?

If I gave the bottom clubs 100% more but gave top clubs 300-400% more th e 100% relatively is actually a decrease.

It is sad, that some users are hiding the skills of foreign players in their team. Especially, polish users, which already have the advantage with the number of users and database of players.
When I see an admin user like Gaudin, hiding a skill of a young croatian prospect (which we can count with fingers on 2 hands), makes me question the fair play and other advantages Polska has in this game. There are also players in NT that I manage currently, senior team, 3 players hidden, all 3 playing in a polish team... Not fair, not cool...sending a pm doesnt help.
Why was the option to hide the skills even implemented? Why are NT even active, when you don't know the skills of the players? It is surely better then before, but if every one of us hide the skills, what has changed?
The answer as " oh I don't want my prospect to get injured, so that he loses his training" is not an excuse in a football manager game, nor in reality...
Shame on every one of you that hid the skill of his player, there is a special place in Dantes Inferno for you.

Gaudin is decent admin maybe you should ask him nicely
2025-03-31 12:24:43
Don't change the subject, I've mentioned him here as an example of a longlasting user that hides the skills, I am not taking his admin resp. as a theme of my post
2025-03-31 13:04:35
I do not change the subject but if I see post like yours I will never show you the skills so take it as suggestion . Putting all users under same flag is never 10 15 users do not make all users from that nation same. Guilt is always personal...
