If a player is "saved" from a team that has gone inactive, can that user still log in should they return at some stage? Or would they have to contact admins?

I'm reluctant to ask for a player to be saved if it means losing one of our community members on the off chance they have just gone inactive due to real life matters.

If a user is inactive (50+ days) and you ask to save a player then it means that the admin has to change the inactive user's password as to be able to log in to his account.
So, afterwards if he wants to return to the game, he will not be able to log in again. He will have to ask the game admins for a password to be sent to the email address he did register initially to the game.

And isn't that stupid? I wrote to the admin last weekend and no reply till today! So you can wait for that password as long as you don't care. I think it's easier to make a new team.

You have the option to retrieve password by completing the forgot password option when trying to log in.
From what I know the admin email is broken, so your request got into deep water, unfortunately.
