All depends on the talent at this age.
With talent below 3.5 it is a bargain.
With talent above 4 it is a (small) robbery.
Next to that it depends on how high or low he is in the skills.

For 16/17/18y old there are soo many factors we need to know first.

Yeah, that's why it only makes sense to make an evaluation based on age/skills/skill distribution and the price of other similar youths with unproven talent

Normal price....I've seen 18 keeper with 14 pace at his age for like 2M at the beginning of the season

Keeper training is so easy, you can literally take a very good gk at 18 and make him divine by 21 if he is a bit talented....
Paying more than 4M for a great goal keeper nowadays is crazy.

so it's not worth to train gk if You may buy top one for 4-5M

28 yo with divine gk and 14 pace for 1M and you replace him every 4 seasons...that is the way to go
