End of season period, people already have trainees and don't want to invest into first team because the season is "settled" for most... happens every season.
Lot of people giving up on competitive, that's why prices for 21yo+ players are dropping...
Now it's a transfer list game with taxes, and 15 people having fun competing in high league/NT/U21.
Lot of people giving up on competitive
again, nothing new, happened almost every season for last 10 years in Poland that teams sold out at top level and gave walkovers / lost 0:20 every game
that's why prices for 21yo+ players are dropping...
top 30 transfers this season = 22 over 21yo
top 60 transfers this season = 42 over 21yo
top 90 transfers = 66 over 21yo
top 120 transfers = 94 over 21yo
mostly 24-28yo players
ps. prices for young players already dropped as well since couple of weeks, people must've given up on training as well...
happens every season, same scenario. start of season = high prices, end of season = low prices. whether 5 or 10 or 30 people "gave up" on playing competitively doesn't matter.
Now it's a transfer list game with taxes
it WAS a transfer list game
now the game actually limits the trades due to taxes, so I don't see your point

True for A-team players but I can't find a logic why demand and supply of trainees would depend on the part of the season in any way.
Well it's a couple of things...
a. season payments for league position / fanclub = extra money influx into the transfer market at start of every new season
b. due to that people know that they can get good money for young players if they sell week 1-5
c. since people sell in this period, they also need to buy to fill the training slot(s) that they emptied soon after
d. many people going for fresh 16s so they get rid of their 17/18yos that they trained for a ~season
e. limited number of users, limited number of training slots = people with every week "fill up" their training places and don't buy more players because they can't train more than 10 that they already have
f. limited number of fresh 16/17yo players and some people want to get them as fast as possible, hence they drive the prices very high

In my opinion, trainees 16-18 are cheaps too. Just some few exceptions that goes for a lot of money and 99% of the rest are very cheap. The game made a lot of changes to take out money from system (taxes, coaches retiring, etc.). So every player looks bargain, but the prices are falling. Also users are spending less money knowing that the players will value even less when they sell. It's normal and known behavior. So almost every player looks bargain but it's hard to know fair price until it reaches equilibrium. If it ever reaches one.
