will be either under [anything other than 1st] or expectations reach (no bonus) for winning the league. So they have to do close to nothing to achieve as much as I will by winning the league (while I have a weaker rating and I train youths).
There is no bonus +2, +1 or penalty -1, -2 to mood (that was announced but was not implemented and won't be)
If both, you and such team will achieve goal from expectations, you beeing top of the league and such team beeing 5-9, you will be rewarded from recent matches satisfaction having better results (that 40% part)

I really invested around 5% of money in trainees! :) Invested 75% in trainers... and around 20% in Stadium.
So different approaches are really possible in Sokker
Why I didn't invested more in trainees?
Every loss after overpaying a 16-17y without proven talent would make me bankrupt. Even salaries for older players are great burden for the club!
I could make more money just waiting few weeks pace trainings and nice graph (like I did with Surový)! But I don't like/don't have time to play like that!
Investition in coaches was good decision, have 5 U21 National team players and 2 on good way to play some games next season(s).
I opened Youth Team to raise possibility my country get more decent players. Had costs, but I think it worth it every cent!
Must say: not all the Leagues are sustainable! Yes, that makes you fight for promotion, but promotion brought me nothing on my financial plan!
My conclusion is: it was difficult to improve coaches, open YS, impossible to finance all that without selling short term and very hard running club without any profit from attendance and sponsorship! It's not same playing different countries, so comparing Poland with another make no sense!

good to know that once again they say that they do something, and then after months you can unofficially get the info, that they didn't do it... professional as ever
still, the expectations fulfilment DOES impact the current mood, a lot from what I see on my team - I can't get over 34/100 mood, even though I had runs of 3 wins + 1 draw and 4 wins + 1 draw in the league/cup. My max (34/100) came after 5 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss, barely moving up after wins. So I can't really imagine how I could get to 80/100 - so even if the +2/+1/-1/-2 are not "set in stone" then in practice such bonus/block already exists.
although it seems that either they decided to delete the immediate effect of expectations fulfilment or something got messed up again because this season my mood did not go lower after season and failed expectations...
...so my question is - how is it actually working, because it's definitely not working the way they announced it and the way it worked a season ago

I'm talking about a different thing, I mean 5% of money spent on players.
There are teams that play at low level, spend big money (1-3m euro) on 30+ players, while they buy weak young players for under 100k or train bad youths and then they are surprised that their team doesn't improve and they don't have any money (because they burned everything on old players who lose value)
You have a transfer profit so it's not about your example:)

they didn't announce a bonus, but a limit:
The range of this modifier operates on parameters: +2, +1, -1, -2. Once again, we emphasize that this is about the limit, not a constant bonus – in other words, the modifier limits the scale in which fans' moods can move in the new season; it is not a constant bonus to the mood.
@Geston: and these limits aren't implemented? I already thought so when I saw a team with max mood when his preseason fulfillment didn't allow max mood.

They are not implemented. But there is more that is/will be modified. There should be official announcement soon.

The way how it works will be a bit different, imo better. But... patience, that's what we should have learned playing this game so far and we need to stay patient untill official announcement.

Sokker doesn't retire players at any age, allows you to spend more than sponsorship and attendance money on coaches/players salaries without visible warning club is going in wrong direction and make managers to make any profit!
Imo, Managers should take care of finances first, and then coaching!
I got once:
"Transfer record: Simón Netto
Simón Netto signs a contract! The management of Wretchedster reUnited is not afraid of investment.
There is an unusual stir among Wretchedster reUnited fans after news was confirmed of the transfer of Simón Netto, an 31-year-old veteran goalkeeper...
...Although it seems that Simón Netto may have the best years of his career behind him, fans are hoping that his experience and high skills will bring a lot of quality to the first team's play, and that Simón Netto himself will become an example for his younger colleagues."
Question is, does someone even notice this in Pressroom? It should be redone, and club officials and fans should make more "concerns" about finances and transfer fees! This weekly financial Update and graphs are not bad, but think they should implement concerns in Pressroom if you don't make profit trough season.
In any case: should be more visible!
I need to click club office - finances, to see my operating balance is -231 010 €, assuming 75% don't even check financial Update!
Why don't DEVs focus on this topic?

Only partially on topic, but need to be very careful about looking at the transfer balance of teams.
I have seen multiple people, regularly list players for more than they are worth, hoping that someone pays a premium out of desperation.
But more often than not, I see these same players get listed multiple times, then slowly come down in price, all the while, the managers are coping the listing fee.
The listing fee is not included in transfer income, and either are taxes for selling or the added amount going to the original team for u23 players.
So whilst some people look like they have amazing profit, this can be greatly reduced depending on their listing strategies.
Even taking a minimum of 5% off their total sales (baseline tax if always listing for $0), often eats a hug amount in to their profit. Then divide the total profit by weeks played, and salaries, they often aren't earning anywhere near as much as they like to say on a per week basis

If I play a junior academy player in a position where they receive low marks in a match, will continuing to play them in that position help them develop skills in that area or is it completely random? I assume it is random but was curious enough to ask

I hadn't chance to take the team, to my National Cup match, and I played with corner tactic. After then, I was happy to rename a tactic to the NT match and take the starting eleven, but I haven't chance to save the the tactic at zones an creat, beacuse the game crashed so many times:(
Saturday I had a program and hadn't chance. But when I came back, and wanted do something yesterday and today I had a same problem. Some of other manager in Hungary was the same problem.
Now from 20 minutes seem a little better, but I don't know it will be a longer time or no.
