There are always solutions, but sometimes short-term pain is necessary. As for what you've just said, you literally just had a 2-week off-season where you could have sorted this and it wouldn't have affected anyone.

What I was thinking about in first place is to let listing every u21 player at every part of the season.
Older ones just between round 11th and 12th, end in two weeks between seasons.

Other point was to let listing only those players who have played atleast 1 match in NT. I found it fair. If you are NT manager and you want to save 16yo player - make that effort and use him even for 5 minutes in match to enable listing him by admin.

All that steps would reduce aplications for saving nt prospects. Some kind of compromise.

for a first team 14. Then double it for the 2nd team to have 28. 28 is basically the perfect squad size, especially when you can just swap someone out at any point. I've been advocating in England that we should have a 28-man squad and then use the extra 12 places for future stars.

+ is auto-saved only when a bot team is replaced by a new team for a new user. That means sometimes such player need to wait even couple of season, so it is pointless in most of the cases.

Exactly. It has to happen the moment a team goes bot or there's no point. If you're concerned about league balance (and I'm not, life is unfair and people need to suck it up), you could create a window between game 11 and 12. That'd be 6 weeks wait max.
