Yes general skill and general appraisal is the same.
Effeciency you can see somewhere in the training sektion, but it is just a % number according to his general skill/appraisal, so its more or less the same.

I don't know if I've been asleep at the wheel for previous end of season flips, but I got a significant lift salaries this week which I've never noticed before.
Salaries appeared to me to fluctuate each week, so if that's also true what's the difference at end of season?

Salaries are the same every week of the season and get updated once each season in the break.
Salaries are a figure based 100% on what skills your player has. Higher skills means higher wage (i mean the difference between 12 and 13 is higher then the difference between 8 and 9). Subskills (extra trainings) are calculated into wages too.

Go to NT team page you want to invite, click statistics i upper menu to go to old layout view, then click matches in upper menu then scroll down to current week and there should be mini-form for inviting there.
Why you still can't do this from "match invitation" link on new nt team page is beyond me, but despite my many requests for about 2 years no dev took care of it.

Yes, but it is essentially the same thing. In this case you have to remember url address, in case of what I wrote - the whole howto "recipe". Both are just ways to "go to old matches page".

3rd yellow card so he gets a suspension.
However, the suspension doesn't appear to be for our friendly game against Wales next week, but for our qualification game against Bolivia.
I'm hoping I'm wrong about this, but surely if that yellow card was gained in a friendly game (infact all his yellows are from friendlies) the ban should also apply to a friendly game?

Is it your first ever booking in NT? The NT red cards are not shown in lineup setting (it shows only red cards from club), he is booked for nearest NT game, whatever type of game it will be.
We've had this conversation before. I can see the red on his NT status. And now I remember, I think someone told me it's a bug.
