I'd probably drop the 3rd one, though it depends on what you're training.

The 16 is obviously the best.
The middle can either go striker or wing
The 3rd needs both passing and tech fixed and is probably the most difficult.

Second and third only has potential to be worth 1,5 to 2 m eu, 2nd as wing or striker, 3rd as def.... but thats 3-4 seasons from now, so low profit for a training spot.... Id keep 1st and try find new one

Definitely not the middle guy. For me he's the best one - the 16 year old will never catch up to him given your conditions (similar talent).

I'd drop the last guy.

hi guys, i have a question, the tax decreases week by week is stablished by a day? I mean every thursday it drop a "week" no mather if i buy the player on a sunday? I am right?

It's this. I have learned to look at all players from a midfielder perspective, even if they aren't playing midfield. The 16 year old will need 7 weeks alone just to catch up on pace. He'll never have any meaningful PM for decision making on the ball, or defending to force cheap turnovers.

The 17 year old is just a better football player. I'm not a big fan of sub 20 skill 16 year olds. I'm also not entirely sure how Paco can be sure of that 16 year old's talent - it hasn't been nearly long enough to have a clue. it took me an entire season to get Hodge figured out when he came out at 16, and he had (I think) 5 or 6 skills more than Paco's guy (Hodge came out midseason). (edit: I did train pace exclusively on him, which perhaps isn't optimal)

Potentially if the 16yo is talented he will be worth a fortune (not the case with the 17yo)

Also makes a difference if your intent is to sell in 10 weeks or keep long term. The former case, sure, the 16 year old is better.

Ultimately it doesn't matter much. Everyone agrees the third player is trash.

I don't. Not sure, why the 2nd is really better than the 3rd (on shorter term selling at 18-20y).

The 3rd can be quite easily pushed in def/pace, while the 3rd needs 3 skills to train as winger - and alone 1 season of ps training.

What is up with form for players? I have a struggle with my DEF, even though they are playing on good level and opponents arent reaching the goal. Any tips for it? Also I assume assists in games influence the form of players, so why is the engine so off considering that topic? I saw xy times that assist is not being counted in statistic.

6 weeks at my academy starting skill was six how Sktabbles said the talent is confirmed? he wiil be at academy for another 28 weeks.

i.e if next week his skill raised to 8 which is raised 2 in 7 weeks his talent roughly should be 3.5 isn't?
