It can be important though. It can be the difference between a 2 weekpop and a 3weekpop

...which can be worth x or even xx millions of euro on itself if you're training a TOP level 16-17yo and the plan is to sell fast with best possible training graph

but most people don't do that and don't get millions of profit on every transfer so yeah, for 99% of users there's no point in having top quality assistants

Yep I've seen evidence of that. I've also seen 8x Unearthly with different wages, including a couple who went slightly over £36000. That's either a flaw in the currency converter or the max is more likely £36600.
I'd love to repeat what I did in the English forum and collect the data from users here, but I don't have the time right now. I'm currently in A & E with my sick child.

Agreed. Certainly not for longterm training... but yeah it's also good to give training as optimal as possible..

Same with youthcoach... I upgraded my youthcoach from max-6 to max-4... it could show a talent 3.34 like 3.28 approx. And better skills when promoting. Also that can be a small difference, maybe not... difficult to claim that effectivity-border.

When I could have talent 4,5 with very good coach .. I dont think that 2 skill change you made, make that much difference....

I've done a load of work recently on how general levels are calculated.

127-128 Unearthly
118- 126 Magical

Max for exact value of unearthly skill for coach is 16.20. And if coach has unearthly skill then most of the time (~90%) it is 16.20, due to the way the coach recruitment algorithm works. As I understand it, it draw from the much wider range (on both sides), but if the value comes out bigger than 16.20 then it's cut to this number. 16.00 - 16.20 is small so the chance to get value in that range is also small, much smaller than just getting value bigger than 16.20.

Now, with that info in mind: general skill of coach is a mean of all individual skills, but calculated with their decimal parts, and then rounded down (for display, I assume for training purposes sokker uses full info). For example coach that is 7x 16.20 + 14.xx (so sum 126 without decimals) can either be magical (if 14.xx is lower than 14.60) or unearthly (if it's at least 14.60). 7x 16.20 + 14.60 = 128 -> 128 / 8 = 16

As for wages, Keeper costs x3 any other skill.

Unearthly Keeper 10800
Unearthly Other 3600

For a maximum of £36000 wages (8x Unearthly)

Nope, it's 4x.
Max wage for coach is 60.1k euro
Normal 16.20 unearthly skill gives ~5429 euro
Goalkeeper 16.20 unearthly skill gives ~21718 euro
And there is an additional component, base of 375 euro (just like 8x tragic players have 375 euro wage)

Btw. Before the players wage reform they shared the wage formula with coaches, it was exactly the same.

I tried x4 for keeper wages and it didn't work out because it left other skills undervalued. It also makes the entire formula more complicated for other skills if the total wage isnt divisible by 10.
X3 for keeper
X1 for other 7 skills

Works out neatly at £3600

If it's X4 for keeper and X1 for the other 7

Works out as £3272, and that ain't right because the game runs on .05 economy and skill multiplier.

I'll get back to you on this. It's late and the currency conversion tool is being weird.

The game doesnt run on 0.5 terms according to english punds that is For sure, because your currency rounds down funny to euro.... its probably based on polish zloty

I always questioned that because it doesn't make sense if that's the way it's been built. It would mean the currency converter is actually nonsense. In England all wages are multiples of 5.

Anyway it's late, I've spent all day in hospital and I'm tired. I'll come back to this later.

It also makes the entire formula more complicated for other skills if the total wage isnt divisible by 10.

There is no formula with nice numbers as outputs for each skill. Wage numbers look nice because they are rounded (most likely down) to 100s in PLN (which converts to 25s in euro, or 15s in pounds) after calculations. Wage is calculated on the exact value of individual skills, 16.20 gives different value than 16.00, and different than 16.13943898 (that's why 8x unearthly vary in wage)

Max coach wage that is displayed in PLN as 240400 (which is 60100 in euro, 36060 in pounds) could be something like (example) 240452.1239081 before it being rounded down.

It also has a variable rise, 2 high and 1 low skill is more then 3 medium... so having it so simple as No decimals is highly unlikely

I don't see why you'd design a system where decimals are needed when it comes to wage calculation, when you're just going to round them down anyway. It seems unnecessarily complicated. This really just furthers my view that the game needs it's own currency.

I had a thought last night about the 10/11 skill issue that I was talking about.
If you say
Keeper Skill x4 wage
Other Skill x1 wage

That causes a problem because you're dividing wages by 11.
£36060 divided by 11 is 3278.18 and England doesn't do decimals, so then you have to round up or down and it's very messy.
So I returned to a previous idea.

If you remove Stamina from the equation (I'll come back to it) and you say

Keeper Skill x4 wage
Other Skill x1 wage

then you have 10 skills again (4 for keeper, 6 for the remaining) averaging out at £3606. Still not perfect but at least a whole number.

Which brings me back to Stamina.

My theory (and it's likely entirely wrong) is that Stamina isn't a skill in itself but is a multiplier of the value of other skills. To what ratio I don't know, I need more data.

If someone knows different I'd like to hear it. I'd like to know the wage breakdown of each skill.

EDIT

I've had an idea about how to calculate the effectiveness of assistant coaches but it's fairly complicated and would require about 4 seasons to get the data required. I'll take a look when I have more time.

Where can we see our referral link to bring people to the game?
2024-04-16 23:20:27
why do you need referral link for that? just give them normal link sokker.org

anyway, the link you are talking about is probably invite url on old club page
2024-04-16 23:27:35
Man, it's clear why I want it!!, they give you 3 days of Assistant Plus for each one you bring, they just gave it to me but I don't know the link I gave for it..XD
2024-04-16 23:31:41
why one would want Assistant Plus? it's superfluous

anyway, as I said, check old club page, in Your case it should be here: https://sokker.org/glowna/teamID/142367
look for button labelled Invite URL
