Why there is no H2H?

Some Italians might ask themselves this morning, why there is a H2H?^^

To be honest I think at least it was the pot after qualification.

Looks like there was a decider, but we will probably never know which one..

Austria had the exact same results. Same points, same goals made and conceded.
But... they were the victor in the match between Italy and Austria.

The part about "5. Ranking points at the time of the draw." was in the context of the qualifiers ("Qualifications").
That was one of the criteria to qualify to the world cup from the qualifiers (which 32 of the 98 teams qualify to the world cup)

The first stage in the world cup (group stage) is like a league.
The criterias on leagues are described here:



"- position in the league at the end of last season" is the position after the qualifiers
and that is why pot of the draw is the right answer on such situations.

(To remember:
Pot A: Place 1 on qualifications group and more points, goals etc than on pot B.
Pot B: Place 1 on qualifications group and less points, goals etc than on pot A.
Pot A: Place 2 on qualifications group and more points, goals etc than on pot D.
Pot B: Place 2 on qualifications group and less points, goals etc than on pot C.)

So again: No rule has changed. :)

It is obvious that group with Polland,Italia and Mexico was really hard.Poland is at first place at Ranking,Italia is the WC champion and Mexico was third at previous WC.Also all managers at the highest level and i consider Italian managers are the best tactitians(look how many Italian managers have NT teams like DON SAL,Triglio,Barros and fo course Roby-gym who is the WC chamion).Of course at these games godness luck is neccesary.

1. At the end of the group stage, how did you feel yesterday, did you believe Austria would advance?
1) Yestrday thought that Österreich was outside of WC anf of course i was dissapointed because i was too close but thats is sokker.Anyway i was happy because i tryed really hard

2)Of course i suprised that Österreich qualified to the next round and i dont know what it is changed.I think that is a big success for Österreich community for this qualification because last time that Österreich qualified at 16 of WC was since 2016 from this hard group(my opinion is that grous was the hardest of WC)

3. How would you rate your next opponent Brazil, what are your expectations in this match?
3)As always i am lookind the games separately.Of course Brazil is a top team(they are at the second place od Ranking with a top class manager) but Österreich plays always for the victory.Nobody plays for deafeating

4. Looking at the completed group phase of the World Cup who do you think will play in the World Cup final ?
4)To play at WC final it is Utopia.As i said Österreich is looking the games separate if achieve WC final it could be great

The sentence you pointed out appears only in the rules in english language!

I checked in english, polish, german, greek and in italian and I realized, that all translations are based on the polish, except the english one!
Watch also the enumerated criteria, 1 to 5 in english and 1 to 6 in the other languages!
