Exactly. This is my opinion too. I know many managers who don't show the skills of their players. I think Saudi Arabia doesn't have chance to win gold medal so i dont see a reason to do that.
Antos bad pitch existed always but only recently managers started to use it so it's not tactical miracle it's lack of descent dignity to risk your players and players and players of opponent. On top games on such pitch you can't do nothing tacticly the ball had super weird trajectory not sure how you preparing about this . Players were not able to dribble at all falling down so basically skills do not matter .... This is unacceptable on wc level. I'm glad my childish behavior will actually make devs act...
And mainly number of home games are not same so it can't be used from all equally...

From my point of view..You saw that coming, cause he did the same on Venezuela in the 1st round. So, you should have prepared your tactics and match-up better
