1. How would you rate your performance at the U21 World Cup ?
1- Cuba U21 played the World Cup well, I was left with a bad taste after the defeat on penalties, a very powerful generation! I still think we could have done more for the victory but they played a good tournament and I am satisfied!!
2. What are your impressions and what can you tell us about the U21 World Cup, what did you like or did something particularly bother you?
2- In my understanding, the sokker tournament is incredibly unpredictable, anything can happen!
Just highlight that due to the poor form of some of the Cuban players we couldn't give more!
3. Who do you think was the biggest surprise on the positive side at the U21 World Cup and who did you think disappointed?
3- I liked the World Cup that Australia played, on the other hand my second favorite nation (the one I would like to coach one day). I didn't like Hungary being left out so early, although we were both surprised by the Russia U21 game!
4. What are your plans for the future , do you stay where you are and continue your work , or do you change your plans , if you want to change them , where do you want to work next season as a national team coach ?
4- I have already announced my retirement from the U21 level for a period of time, in my opinion a bit long, therefore, I plan to contribute my knowledge to the Cuban senior team! Although I leave as a recommendation to the community that the future of this team remains at a high level, at least in the next 2 seasons, my successor will have a powerful generation!!
5. Can you tell us about your national team that played at the U21 World Cup , strengths and weaknesses , stars of the team .
5- This was without a doubt one of the best generations I have commanded, perfect balance, the weakness was that only the 11 regulars were of level, or at least the 11 regulars were the ones who had the high form, the level changes never raised this aspect!
6. Finally, please tell us if you would like me to continue to run this website, or if you don't care, or if you would change something in my work on this forum ?
6- I think that like many of those present in this forum thread and some other fans, we are very happy and grateful with your work, personally I really enjoy this forum, thank you for your work!
7. write us your scenario for the final match between Poland and Romania.
7- They are the two best teams, perhaps Romania may seem the weakest, but Lord Legolas is a good strategist, I think that can compensate for this possible disadvantage, Poland is very strong, their players are the best and they also have a coach with plenty of experience at this level!
If they go to penalties I support Romania, hahaha.

1- Good tournament for us, but we are eliminated on the 1/4 finals by Polska.
2. What are your impressions and what can you tell us about the U21 World Cup, what did you like or did something particularly bother you?
2- Many equal teams and this make tournament fantastic. The best are on final!
3. Who do you think was the biggest surprise on the positive side at the U21 World Cup and who did you think disappointed?
3- Surprise... Maybe Australia and Russia. Disappointed Bulgaria, because we expected medals :)
4. What are your plans for the future , do you stay where you are and continue your work , or do you change your plans , if you want to change them , where do you want to work next season as a national team coach ?
4- I will stay and continue with Bulgaria U21, we start to prepare for next world cup and will be back stronger!

5- We work with small group of players, and cant rotate tactics, cant surprise opponents.

Australia U21/ Coach: achmid
1. How would you rate your performance at the U21 World Cup ?
1- Definitely rating this performance a 10/10.
2. What are your impressions and what can you tell us about the U21 World Cup, what did you like or did something particularly bother you?
2- The u21 world cup is always a bit of fun, although for most teams it's about doing better than what has been done before rather than winning.
It was great to see a lot of small and medium sized nations doing well
3. Who do you think was the biggest surprise on the positive side at the U21 World Cup and who did you think disappointed?
3- Australia were definitely the biggest surprise side. Even from the qualification group stage they were often overlooked or bet against in various forums. Whilst it's easy to look at a small nation and underestimate them with them being at a big disadvantage, you can't forget the value of a good coach.
4. What are your plans for the future , do you stay where you are and continue your work , or do you change your plans , if you want to change them , where do you want to work next season as a national team coach ?
4- This was my last season as a National Team coach. After 20 seasons and raising Australia's rank from 5th bucket to mid 20s, and going further than they have ever been before, it's time to step down and let a new set of eyes grace the team and the community. I very much doubt I will take on any NT appointment in the future, but never say never
5. Can you tell us about your national team that played at the U21 World Cup , strengths and weaknesses , stars of the team .
5- The biggest star of the team is the captain Jirra Ponting , who is likely one of the best defenders for his age in the world. Unfortunately against Austria the ME decided there would be a couple unfortunately events and they would both occur against him. Scary part is, he is still only 20.
We suffered a lot with depth towards the end, with 4 injuries and that hurt both substitute and tactic choice, but thats the fun of sokker right :)

6- I think as long as you are enjoying it, keep going. When you decide to step down, there will be someone else who will do things their own way after a few seasons. We see it with the community organised cups as well. But for now, I think people are enjoying it and would like you to continue.

7- With so many users, Poland will always be favourites, and every time they don't win, it really is a choke. But there are no guarantees in sokker, and the two teams are fairly evenly matched. You'd have to say with the current squads and managers, Poland are winning 55/100 times, but they have just scraped through a few matches so I'm going to say Romania 2:1. Cheering on the underdog is the Australian way
Good luck to both coaches, you have both shown great community spirit and both deserve to have that great winning feeling. But there can only be one, so make it a tough battle and don't let the other coach have an easy walkover

1. How would you rate your performance at the U21 World Cup ?
1- I am slightly disappointed with my result but on the other hand I got a strong group: France Azərbaycan and Österreich. Montenegro this season is weaker than previous season also younger but its good for next season. We have the smallest avg 574 298 € also youngest 20.5 squad
2. What are your impressions and what can you tell us about the U21 World Cup, what did you like or did something particularly bother you?
2- I didn't have time for better scout and tactic this season (especially world cup ( in the middle of my ski season :D ) ) so i didnt watch any of playoff wc games this season, but I hope i will see the final on saturday :)
3. Who do you think was the biggest surprise on the positive side at the U21 World Cup and who did you think disappointed?
3- the biggest surprise was Österreich ofc from my group :"D

4- I will be here in home county and try over and over to play WC and maybe make some play off surprise in next 3 or 4 seasons..

I forgot to mention that Austria and Edson had a great World Cup.
Those who achieve firsts in history are always important. So I congratulate Jurro for bringing the first medal to Switzerland.
Achmid did such a good job in the tournament that it seems like the others are left behind, but let's give credit to both of these coaches before we forget.

Interestingly, the coach who led Austria to historic success received tactical criticism on the forum page. Frankly, I was surprised by this.
You must be sorry. I guess that's why you want to compete with another country in the next World Cup.
I already informed that I am available for another u21 team :)
