Asunto: [U21] Druid's Cup U20/21

Druid's Cup Rules:

1. The first rund - four groups A, B, C and D, only one match with each team according to the calendar below
2. In the group - win - 3 points, draw - 1 point, defeat - 0
3. The sequence in group - points, goals difference, results between the teams, quantity of shoots in all group matches

4. The home4. The home team - sends invitation til Tuesday before the match if he will not send it 0-3 (walkover)
5. If some team don't approve invitation till Thursday before the match, the team loses the game 0-3 (walkover)

You can also find which age of the players you can use during matches in the group phase according to point number 6 from the rules

6. The teams in the group phase can use the players in the matches according to the ranking from 30-12-2022:

a) Above 2500 - only players u20

b) 2499 - 2000 - u20 and max 2 players u21

c) 1999 - 1500 - u20 and max 4 players u21

d) 1499 - 1000 - u20 and max 6 players u21

e) Below 999 - u20 or u21 or mix age
- Slovenija U21 - Geston - 807.57
- Cymru U21 - ionutzc - 715.84
- Malta U21 - Skibi - 640.71

If some team don't play in group phase according to above age rules (walkover)
7. After group all teams will start cup phases 1/4
and 1/2 (cup matches), you don't need looking for opponents because each team will play till week2

Very easy vistory of Hayastan team, which has to prepare to second match with Ísland team. Next week probably one from above team will have chance to play in the chamipionship phase. Norge has to win next match with Malta to have chance to play in the chamipionship phase. It is interesting that in Ísland team used only 3 players u21 and achieved better statistics than Hayastan team, so maybe Ísland team win group A ? we will see ... :)

Many pundits believed that Group B would be the most evenly matched in the group stage. After the first matches, you can see that all teams have achieved very high statistics of ~50, so by the end of the group stage, all teams will be fighting for a place in the champions stage. After the first matches, the unexpected Moldova lost to Ireland by 5 goals, and the Netherlands drew with Sweden. Lots of surprises or not during first round ...?

After first matches the experts can confirm that Belgium team would like to win group and also whole tournament, why ... This team won MM cup in this season so Belgium coach knows their U20 players very well. In the second match Scotland should win with Ukraina, but sokker engine decided that draw will be the best result. A lot of experts understand that Scotland coach can be angry, but he should forgot about last match and start preparation to match with Belgium and what about Ukraina? The coach should be happy that he has still chance to play in the championship phase...

Very bad result of Israel coach. This team played on WC this season and lost in the first match with Danmark 5-0. The experts thought that the coach played only u20 players but not, so congratulations for Danmark coach who used potencial theirs stikers and achieved very good result. Slovenija lost with Srbija, but they scored one goal what is a great result against Srbija. Probably Danmark and Srbija will play in the championship phase, but the experts know that sokker engine can make suprises in the next matches and help Slovenija and Israel we will see...

After second round we have very big suprice beacuse Hayastan lost with Ísland. During the match Ísland team had a lot of situation 1 vs 1 and scored 4 goals Hayastan - team which almost played in the cup phase of last World Cup. After this match Ísland team will play in main championship cup phase and Hayastan team needs to show that it was only one match and in the next they will show how to play in sokker :)
Norge would like to play also in main chamiponship cup and to do it they needed to win with Matla. It was very easy match because they scored 4 goals and had 18 shoots. Malta will play in the second cup and the experst belive that maybe in the next match they will achieve more than 1 shoot during the match.

Both teams Ireland and Nederland played on last World Cup so the fans thought that the match will be equal and both teams will present how to play in sokker, but after the mach only the fans of Nederland can say it was very easy match. Nederland achieved very high notes and this team is very close to play in the main championship cup. Ireland team played the tactic with WING and it was coach mistake against very strong Nederland. The experts see that Ireland can't achieve better statistics than 49,8 so probably it is maximum of this team...
In the second match Moldova had to win with Sverige to keep the chance and play in the main championship cup. The coach drew a conclusion from the last match with Ireland and motivated the team. The match was very equal and probably draw could be the fair result, but in 88 minutes Steffensson scored goal and unfortunatly Moldova will be play in the second cup. The experts are wondering if Moldova in the last match with Nederland will fight or not...

Scotland was very tough opponent for België team. Scotland in the first round should win with Ukraine and in the second match the coach showed that Scotland should play in the main championship cup. They played very equal match with België and now they needs to wait if België coach will play with Ukraine the strongest team, becuase if Ukraine will achieve draw then Scotland will play only in the second cup.
In the second match Ukraine won with Cymru. They presented better game than during last match with Scotland. Cymru will play in the second cup, but they scored one goal against Ukraine so it is very good result. Congrats from the experts....

After second matches in group D everything is clear Danmark and Srbija will play in the main championship cup and Israel and Slovenija will play in the second cup. During last matches Slovenija and Israel presented good games, but it wasn't enough to still fight about promotion, but the experts are sure that all coaches will play the stronges squad in the next match to achive the best position in the group at the end... We will see if Danmark will be still first and Slovenija will win with Israel which pesented very good during last World Cup. Good luck All of you ...

Maybe after two season I will try to increase qty of teams to 16. In first edition played 4 teams, now we have 8 so maybe the next step will be 16 :)
