Quietly enjoying watching them shoot themselves in the foot (as I said they would) with terrible idea after terrible idea, including stealth updates that crash the game or cause massive changes. Although I am also sad because the game had a solid base for improvements and it seems like they said, what would improve this game, and did the opposite.
They have literally made only one good change (the training update), but even that wasn't necessary as most were happy with the old training system.
Even the fact most people only "play" this game for the social aspect of it, and very little to do with game play, will still be ruined by all these poorly thought out changes. Sometimes all it takes is for one influential person in a community to leave and suddenly it creates an exodus of people because they see what is happening with the game.

New training system is awful.
They have to changr tactic system and engine

I cannot imagine returning to the old training system, the new training system is more functional and more interesting
The training system is good, it is the number of trainees (10) that is unsatisfactory. You still have to get 5-6 other players, often old and with skills that don't satisfy you. Furthermore, players reach the top at 27-28 years of age, and begin to decline shortly after, while in real lite there are forty-year-olds who are still performing. You train hard to enjoy the players scarce 2 seasons. Not worth it except for "battery chicken farmers".

+1
yes, new training system is great. With shorter seasons I would encourage to make a difference, that players 29-32 Yo DO NOT LOSE SKILLS, because this is really irrational. In real life they are at their prime and in sokker 30 yo is considered OLD.
And I hate the idea that usually you can still train 28 yo, but 29 yo they start losing skills. It should be at least 3 seasons gap, where player do not get and do not lose skills

I agree with the above. It's such a stupid move to train players up to 28 and then right after, at 29, start losing skills...its comical
Would make sense to reach potential at 28 and then AT 30 start dropping skills. But anyways seems like the owners aren't really serious or lack the budget to develop the game deeper and for it to make sense.
A pity to see this used to have 70k users and now barely 10k. And remember guys, this is game is very difficult to attract people to, it is not a normal game, suits "older" people more rather than new generations.
So I'm not sure where this is heading...

Ok we get it now :-p
Imo, there are 4 types of skills...
The ones that drop the fastest and needs the most maintenance training: Physical training (Pace and stamina)
The ones that drop slower but are hard to master: Technical training (Technique and passing)
The ones that are very hard to master but drop very slow: Positional training ( GK, def and striker)
The ones that are impossible to master, but keep rising and will never drop down until after retirement: Mental training (Playmaking and tactical discipline)
I know Raul and the other devs see it differently, but I'm going to say it once more. PM is NOT a position skill!!! It's a mental skill and it has influence on the overall performance of the player. A player with high PM, regardless of position, is going to perform much better than a better skilled player with low PM, on the same position.
So PM really needs to be stripped down from the mid order only restriction ASAP!

If the devs would not drop playmaker skill,
I could see that being a gateway for players becoming coaches
Like their playmaking could be like the overall coaching skill (similar to juniors in junior school)..and when you elect to coach then the coaching skills could randomly be generated
Just a fun idea about it :)

Let's see some data before drawing conclusions :P
This is the value graph of a player I trained all his career. The blue line is an estimation of the value ignoring the effect of form on it:
As you can see, value is increasing linearly in the training stage
At the age of 28 it starts to slow down, but it's still increasing! This means that the value gained by training is bigger than the value lost
At the age of 30 the value is at his peak
At the age of 31 the value starts smoothly dropping
My conclusion: drops are great as they are
What's the problem here? I think many people are not aware that a skill drop doesn't necessarily mean a full skill drop. If the skill popped recently, the drop may mean just a few general trainings lost, and they can usually be recovered at the age of 28 with a few general trainings and at the age of 29 with a few direct trainings
