Ok billion times said this match engine is stupid. Just watch this position. im sure there are many positions like this. waiting for your comments
white team my team and we are in attack.

visual bug, he hit the post, look at the match report '48
i dont think so. because player turns back while kicking the ball
+1 visual bug. The report comes from code made.
Then those visual bugs are priority to fix, why we bother to watch the game then? We can't understand anything then if those bugs are like this. I really don't like that situation.

that's the visual bug part... shows a different thing than actually happened

Possible it can't be fixed without writing new match engine from begining.
It is animation problem - ball has coordinates x, y and z which changes in time. If ball goes from one point (A) to another (B) - it doesnt make that way, but "teleporting" from point A to point B.
Match viewer just generates animation of ball moving from point to point.
But player after ball has been hit (A) knows where that ball is going to be (B) just after 1 frame of animation.
This looks sometimes stupid, like for example: when ball is going outside the pitch, it looks like player could run after that ball and possibly get it, but he is already moving to position where should be by thowing ball out. This is because he already knows he cant get that ball.
@iyi
Same here, your ATT just hit the post first, making animation of "shoting". After ball hit the post, it was already somwhere in point B on pitch and your ATT knew that in 1st frame of animation after ball hit the post. So during shoting animation he started to move back - looking strange like he would hit ball out from goal.

Same thing happen in New Zealand -Scotland , the NZ striker dribbled a defender and then the keeper and he was alone and when he was about to shoot the ball, he just turned around and passed it to a defender back in their own half....the description says he hit the post though , but the visualization shows something completely different.
i dont trust to match report. it says there hit to post seven or eight times, it's totally unrealistic. You can see all match reports always said hit to post.
Even it's visualization bug, for me it's very strange to see unrealthy [16]+ strikers to not score in empty goal.
I had similar situations many times this season, as for Club games and for NT games as well.
This is non-sense, how often strikers fail to score in 1v1 situations and it's bizzare when they can't score in empty goal.

In real football the best strikers time to time also don't score to empty goal. They score more often than average strikers but not always. It is realistic.
In sokker striker scores in medium 1 goal in 5 1v1 situations. It's not realistic ;-)
The whole is game is unrealistic, every pass, every defensive action, every movement of players, the whole flow of the game
of course the 1v1 have lower scoring ratio but what do you expect when there's A LOT more of such situations than in real life?
it's just a game not a modern football simulator

Sure, that's why we continue to play this game ;-)
But, i would never stop dreaming it to become better.

what is more realistic, regular results like 2:1, 3:1 or 6:5, 6:4?
Well, I would prefer better squad to win, no matter the score!
Who creates more clear chances then he should win.
Ok, ther could be some exceptions, but when in 6 important games u're better but u lose 4 of them it's annoying.
