Asunto: What is Corner Tactic (Non-combat) Friendly?!

DiBaciu para Todos
Because it happened to me again, that after I have posted in the "Friendly" forum that I'm looking for a Corner Tactics (non-combat) friendly and after texting the person who challenged me for a friendly to double check that we will play Corner Tactic, that I realize that the person who challenged me has no idea what a Corner Tactics game is I have decided to give a short explanation.

A Corner Tactic game is when you set all (or most of) your players in the corner of the field, no matter where the ball is on the pitch they remain in the corner, so they don't get injured .
For example:

PS: DON'T CHALLENGE PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR CORNER, NON-COMBAT, TACTICS IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS OR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PLAY THAT WAY!

Corner tactic in 2k23?

Players don't get injured in 2023?

They should make fans demand refunds for the non-existent games :)

Also, they should eliminate meaningful injuries in friendlies. Yes, I know it's not realistic, but neither is crap like the OP is doing, so...

It would be great if you could just set the intensity/motivation for each game, resulting in higher or lower risk of injuries.
Three basic settings would be enough
1. Play relaxed
2. Play normal
3. Match of the season
This way everyone could play "relaxed" in friendly matches (which real life teams do) considerably reducing injuries in friendlies!
Until then get yourself a Corner Tactic!
Don't be hating if you can't make one! :-))

So you’re trying to exploit a system for personal gains which is imo against the spirit of the game (and yeah I know about injury situation but it was happening before because it unfortunately does reduce injury risk if both sides do it) and then you get angry when someone tries to exploit a system back against you by not playing a corner tactic?

The counter becomes deal with it if someone doesn’t play a corner tactic back. You still probably have a lower chance of injury anyway. I think if they said they’d play a corner and didn’t it’s not really in the spirit of the game either (and potentially worse then the one playing corner tactics) but it’s not like you have a leg to stand on and complain either when you’re trying to manipulate the game to your advantage.

Same thing imo if you agree to a transfer price with someone and then list at minimal price to avoid taxes and then player sells for less than agreed. It’s a nasty move on the part of the buyer but could have been avoided if the agreed price was the listed price.

Btw I do believe injuries need a reduction so it’s comparable to what it was under the old system given we play more games per week but it’s not like trainees were necessarily playing multiple games a week before anyway, it’s just trying to exploit a system to maximise your own investments.

I don't think the claim is that people are doing doing this to get an easy win, it's that they actually don't know what a corner tactic is or don't read the request. 'Don't attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity', and all that ;)

this is a great quote, actually.

DiBaciu: That's a good idea too.

It's not so much I personally hate it as it is just really bad for the development of the player base. I'm personally not sure I really care about corner tactics anymore only because I am PLUS and I can play a stress free arcade anytime I want.

However, as a player in a country with few active users, when I look for reasons why, honestly this friendly nonsense is a key reason imo.

Yeah fair point and one I didn’t consider and as a result misinterpreted what the post was about. Even so if they don’t know what a corner tactic is and they use a normal tactic against someone who plays a corner tactic then it’s still a similar story (don’t get annoyed if people don’t play a corner tactic back even if they said they would or if they didn’t know what you were meaning). I probably should have kept it to that in my original post. If you really wanted a corner v corner tactic then potentially scout the oppositions previous friendlies to see if they have played corner tactics before or be a little more cautious prior to accepting the friendly.

Edit: That’s not at the original poster btw that’s just for anyone who plays a corner tactic and is annoyed others don’t. Otherwise I don’t really think it matters nor should we really be promoting corner tactics.

I'd say quite the opposite, we should promote corner tactics until it is so widespread, devs notice and do something to fix the issue, because just whining about injuries in forums wont work.

every friendly I play is 3v3, i prefer calling it 3v3, not corner tactic :)

This corner nonsense has been around since the dawn of the game. It was one of the reasons I quit my team over 10 years ago. There was only one game a week in league and no arcade games. So I felt this product, at the time, wa a complete waste of both time and money.
2023-06-28 18:07:15
i agree.
I hate this thing in this game when you should play nc to raise players wothout injuries.
Thats so frustrating because actually you havent any satisfaction in this game.I am kind ok sokker player that the main pleasure from this game is when i see the match.Thats the moment when you see the result of your tactically work.Although its just a sad upgrade game.
To avoid this freaking nc tactic, the devs should do a training where the players can be trained even they dont play matches. In thats way users can use an experimented and skilled 11 for main matches from leagues and cup and youths used in friendlies but that not afected bringing less training, just dont get so much tactic dischopline, chemistry etc.
In this way the official competions will be more atractive because all players will play with what they have better, not with nc, or youth and kill the competition...
2023-06-28 19:37:29
Yeah and for a reason. And as devs have stated that they like how injuries are at the moment it is either everyone should stop complaining because that just makes forum toxic and it changes nothing or do something more radical to force fix from devs.

Challenge me or pm me when you want to play!
NC is a way to protect young players , that you train,( from injuries) to maximize their potential! In official games you have no choice but in friendly games you DO!
Ciao!
