I mean if it was implemented correctly, I think in concept it's a great idea.

Luckily for me, it seems to be working. This was what my supporters told me pre-season:

So this tells me that the fans will be tolerant if my team takes a step back this season. So far, I started the season at madly, and after going 1-1 this week, they still are there.

The only thing I can think of, is I wonder if some people have a fanbase too high for the league? I realize this is a bit of a stretch - especially if you're in the top league - but this is all I can think of. I'm pretty new (5th full season in game) and my fanbase is most certainly smaller than everyone else's in USA ML.

Last season i was in top league of Türkiye. i played corner tactics and dropped second top league. My fanmood was 1 level
Beginning of this season i played friendly game with so low ranked team [ hes in last league in Türkiye] and i won 10-0 and my fan mood going to up 4. level
Last week i won first league game 6-3. My oppenent was top 20 in Türkiye rankings. My fan mood only 1 up.
This is crazy.

okay, so I learned last season that fan mood is affected by he Cup disproportionately more than the league.

I actually lost in the first round of the Cup last season (not corner tactics, I somehow drew a middle-tier A1 team that simply beat my B team) and my fan mood dropped 2 ranks from 7 to 5.

I guess they cant be madly in love anymore........

I am one of these teams too - and even if I am leading the top league in my country despite not having one of the best teams the mood of my supporters is (still) poor and not improving. I find it hard to understand the logic of this change, it seems like my fanbase is more interested in me spending the money than leading the league...

Not only that, fanbase doesnt even care how much you spend weekly on salaries, you could have the best training staff, perfect stadium.
You could spend more than what you make each season, you could have 200Mil. in young players and the new system would still only care how much you have left on your bank account.

At the end of last season beacause of expectations frustrated ( I finished in 6 position instead of winning the league) the mood dropped from maximum(7) to 3 ........ since the beginning of this season I already won 5 matches on 5 played (2 cup and 3 league) and the mood level just got from 3 to 4 this week.... I think it is too much extreme this change of updates that MODs did, economically it is really frustrating for the club.
I am disappointed.
