Asunto: 1º Awards Gala Sokker manager

Hello Sokker managers...

With authorization from the SK administration, I am pleased to present to you the 1st awards gala 2024, which will take place in approximately one month (without specifying a date) depending on your participation!!.

This gala is held to encourage and thank in some way all the managers who are part of this great Sokker manager family.

To carry it out, the participation of each of you is very important, each vote counts and voting only costs 5 minutes of your time.

The gala is something similar to the “Hollywood Oscars” but in the SK manager version.

I will give you a template in the next post so that you only have to copy and edit the names of the managers you want to vote for in each category to make your work easier.

VERY IMPORTANT!!, do not publish names of those chosen or voted in the forum so as not to distort the gala, you can only send them to me by private message to maintain the uncertainty of the winners on the final day of the gala.



I hope you like the topic, participate with your votes and enjoy the awards gala since without you this would not be possible.
Proposals are accepted, as long as they improve the awards gala and are finally accepted by the Admins.

You cannot vote for managers from your country, except for the Rookie category!

The reason is because of my past experience in other managers like this where people take the opportunity to vote for their friends without thinking about the award category and that breaks a little with the fun of the topic. I understand that it is a small effort added to the gala but I am sure that you will make that effort to obtain a great awards gala, greetings friend.

I figured, so you're either going to get brigaded by Poland with votes for whoever...or you're going to get a ton of completely uninformed votes instead - probably based on forum participation, or NT work. At least you'd get informed votes from the former, and really if anyone is really taking this informal award thing that seriously...

its like these losers who create accounts in a country just to win an NT election. Like...why?

edit: Additionally, 6 months is far too short for anyone to accomplish ANYTHING in this game. Unless you were somehow blessed with a million dollar starting player (I've seen this happen, recently). In 6 months you might move up a league and maybe build some seats. A year is a better parameter. I can think of three teams specifically in the USA who have done very good things within their first year.

A year would be fine for me too, I put 6 months to put a figure, more or less, but now I'm editing it... Thanks for the suggestion, I've also taken into account that I come from faster games than this one, I already realized that It is a little slower or long term, what I said, I edit it in one year

Another way. I would like to vote for only 1 Category.

Category could be:

"Best worker": Who take the best for the sokker. I will take 3 names for you this category this is sympatic for me.

I have never played Sokker manager but I have a lot of experience in other games like hattrick, Goleada, Dugout-online and others from other sports other than soccer...
I have been a GM, MOD, TRANSLATOR, and I even have a soccer manager game created by my son who is a computer engineer, although the game is not public, only private for friends...
In conclusion, I have a lot of experience in this type of games, I am very active in the forums but very uncompetitive, I only like to activate the forums and make friends...

Attention colleagues, I really liked Red_Pirate's proposal and I am going to add one more category of award for the most worker or manager who contributes to the game and community

I'm not saying your initiative is uninteresting, but you obviously don't know the state of the game:

1) The challenge is particularly compartmentalized into leagues, by country and by very unequal levels. There's really no international challenge (apart from national teams and the Champions Cup), so there's no chance of determining and vote for the "best" internationally, except by looking at these 2 int. competitions, which excludes a lot of coaches.

2) The game and the community are in decline (or at least the decline is stabilizing). There's no way a topic can create a buzz as long as it's not about new features, complains, or reforms to the game.
