Asunto: [U21] Druid's Cup u20/u21 - IV edition

Druid's Cup Rules:

The tournament rules:

1. The Druid's Cup is following according to the schedule below:

Week 11 (24.08.24) - 1/16 Druid's Cup
Week 12 (31.08.24) - 1/8 Druid's Cup Final A or B; 1/8 Druid's Cup Final C or D;
Week 13 (07.09.24) - 1/4 Druid's Cup Final A, B, C and D
Week 01 (14.09.24) - 1/2 Druid's Cup FinalA, B, C and D
Week 02 (21.09.24) - Final and 3hird places of Druid's Cup Final A, B, C and D

2. In the cup phases the teams will play friendly cup match. If the coaches made mistake and set friendly match and after 90 minutes we will have draw then to the next round will promote the team which wasn't responsible for invitation. Always home team is responsible to send an invitation till Tuesday before the match, second team need to accept an invitation till Thursday.

3. Week 11 (24.08.24) - 1/16 Druid's Cup will be drawn the teams will divide by pots 1, 2, 3, 4 according to ranking from week 10 (final WC). 32 teams will play cup phase the teams which win their matches will play in Final A or B and the teams which loose their matches will play in the Final C or D.

4. Week 12 (31.08.24) - 1/8 Druid's Cup - after this phase we will know who will play in Final A, B, C or D. The teams which will win their matches will play in Final A and B other teams will play in Final C and D.

5. Week 13 (07.09.24) - 1/4 Druid's Cup - 8 teams will play in Final A, B, C or D. The teams which will lose the match in this round will knockout from the tournament

6. Week 01 (14.09.24) - 1/2 Druid's Cup - 4 teams will play in Final A, B, C or D.

7. Week 02 (21.09.24) - Final A, B, C and D and also matches for 3thid place Final A, B, C and D.

8. The matches weeks 11, 12, 13 – the u21 coaches can use max u20 players. This rules is not valid for teams which have ranking below 1000. These teams can use u21 players.

9. The matches weeks 1 and 2 – the teams are playing u21 players

It's a shame that there's a mix of U21s and U20s again. If there was only one U20 championship, that would be an argument for Germany to take part. But unfortunately that's not the case.

It's a shame you feel the need to stop evening teams out once it gets to the important finals matches. It makes the finals predictable.
If you are going to try and make a more even competition by limiting players based on rating points, why not do it for the entire tournament?
