DIDIz para Todos
hey guys

On Sunday I played against sixth place in my stadium, 40 thousand out of 45 thousand fans came. After the victory my fans went from 92% satisfaction to 98. (madly in love)
Today, 3 days later, I hosted fifth place, for a championship game!
I had to draw or win to be champion, I lowered prices a little on purpose to get full stadium, my fans were 98% satisfied, and only 24 thousand came out of 45, why? ??

what the hell What's wrong that fewer fans came from Sunday? It's just sad and annoying and senseless!

Rating of the current season : great success
Rating of the last season: great success
Level of satisfaction with recent matches: 93%
Level of satisfaction with fulfillment expectations: 100%
Mood: 98% - Your supporters are madly in love with their club

Did you check what were the "match expectations" in tv studio before the game?
What about weather?
2024-09-04 19:30:44
DIDIz para Geston
Yes, they expected it to be a close game.
Nevertheless, this is the most decorated team in Israel that is currently ranked 3rd in the general ranking and I am 5th.
about the weather , moderate clouds cool , totally fine. and even if there was a chance of rain or there was rain, my entire stadium is covered with a roof!

how can you explain it?

and this :
Fan's expectations:
Top half of the table

I won the championship.. so I really don't know how its possible.

an investment of tens of millions in the stadium and its maintenance every week, for what? So that 24 thousand spectators will come to such a game?
In retrospect I feel I made a mistake. It feels like the developers changed something without saying it in order to further damage the economy of the clubs, otherwise, I have no explanation.
I would love to hear if anyone has.....

New sxpectations system affects ONLY fans mood in this case, nothing more. So if your fans mood increased, than that's not the reason why less fans came.

Only two things could be responsible for what happend.
1) match expectations - based (since ever) only on fanclubs
2) weather - in the second match it was cold, maybe that's the main parameter which made that work this way
2024-09-04 20:22:25
1. terrible weather - cool + cloudy

2. very low fan mood of your opponent - in last 4 games he got 1 draw and 3 losses so his mood definitely crashed

Plus he completely missed the season expectations, so that further lowered his fan mood, possibly around 15/100

Wait, it's my understanding that weather is irrelevant for covered seats. You're supposed to get 'optimal' weather conditions as far as fans go if all seats are covered.

also, match expectations are ridiculous, but I can't think of an easy to implement alternative, so...

That's a theory of some people, from my experience it does not work like that. It only mitigates the impact of rain [and I doubt it makes it completely irrelevant] while it doesn't help (at least not much) in terms of temperature.

Even rules say the same

Match Attendance

Depends on:
-Size of the supporters clubs of both teams
-Fans mood of both clubs
-Match type
-Weather (roofs can help in keeping attendance on raining days)
-Ticket prices.
-Stadium size and stand types.
-Fan preferences on the different types of stands.

It only "can help with rainy days", there's no info about helping with bad weather in general. And weather has 2 factors: cold/hot + sunny/rainy.

Explaination can be opponent has low mood

And weather has 2 factors: cold/hot + sunny/rainy.

No it doesn't, it's one-dimensional thing, there are 8 weather descriptions with middle ones happening more often. They have numerical value from worst to best. I don't think match attendance algorithm considers something like "rain" explicitly. I believe weather value is plugged in the equation (likely it's in 0-100 scale as most things in sokker, and that description is just for display) and lower values produce worse results.

It would be pretty easy to check statistically if weather matters when calculating attendance on roofed stadiums, but I was too lazy to do that :p

Ok, I thought those were 2 different factors that are matched together, but indeed... I don't remember ever seeing hot + rainy so you're right.

Still if that's the case, then with roofs according to the theory you should always have an equivalent for 100/100 weather and it's not working like that. Either roof helps just in x% to mitigate the weather effect or it's more / less helpful on different weathers (I'd guess the former is true).

I didnt know that opp mood will affect me as host of the game... thats make more sense now.. :)

me too

its so bad ... because of the new system of the mood of the fans, it also directly affects the income of a team that does succeed... really sucks

Where is my audience? Besides the subscribers, I don't have enough audience to fill 45 thousand fans? By what calculation does it work? Is there a way to know that?
2024-09-05 16:54:02
Geston para DIDIz
because of the new system of the mood of the fans, it also directly affects the income of a team that does succeed

Only if the new mood is lower than old one.
New mood of all teams in sokker is lower but less than 5 percent points in average comparing to old mood, so it actually changed not much.
2024-09-05 18:37:54
Yeah. I'm just realizing this first part now. It 'appears ' that as of now, the system penalizes better teams by setting the bar high, and if you reach it... it's like 50% happiness or whatever.

In my case this season, I was tasked with top half finish...I was listed 10th on the page ( half of my league basically got this expectation) and I overachieve and finish second in the league.

Fam happiness for the season fulfillment?

67%.

Lame.

Previous two seasons I was "brave fight" and almost always at 100%.

I have no issue with the expectation, but my issue is how happy my fan base was with my season. I doubt I'll finish second next season.
