Asunto: DEV Youth League - what if...

What if we replace all the national youth leagues and create one global youth league instead?
This would be something particularly cool for small countries where the same teams play each other over and over again.
It is a question to you all. Nothing is decided yet and we want to know what you think, what pros and cons do you see in this solution?

I don't see an argument for or against it, so do both and let people choose which they'd rather play in.
While we're on this though, the juniors won't ever be taken seriously until we can see player skills. How can you credibly compete when you're blind to the most basic requirements.

I think I walked over most of my matches this season. So this is my opinion about youth leagues. I could not care less about them. The matches are unwatchable and whole junior school is total random.

As negative as this sounds I'd actually prefer if the junior matches are left alone and the time was spent on some other initiative. They currently serve no real purpose but also have no knock on negative impact to the rest of the game so I would leave them alone and focus on junior school/training/mobile updates etc.

Nice idea, but one junior from different country in youth school is also good idea :)

It's not about what can be done with the youth school etc, reform of this aspect of the game will come one day and we are aware of the problems and what needs/can be done. It all requires some work.

And the question is about a change that requires no work at all, just proper configuration and fixing some existing bugs that need to be addressed anyway. No big deal.

I couldn't bother with youth league if it didn't help with judging the actual talent of a youth... that's the only reason I'm in a youth league.

Unfortunately I can't really see a version of youth league that would actually make sense in this game. Too many issues with every approach I thought about, either it would create too big problems/loopholes or it would require a huge change in different aspects of whole game.

But since it's not much work & it might be nice for smallest countries, why not...

agree with Borkos here all around.

It'll keep the 5-10 users in tiny countries slightly more interested, maybe. Can't hurt considering, as Geston said, its a low effort change that can't really hurt.

It seems it could answer some questions..

If it was one big league for all, then top teams should get significant rewards there. Have in mind it would only affect 12 teams or so in top junior league, so overall money impact wouldn't be too bad.
Now if attendance/rewards in those top games were high, then
'now this is gold' : a lot these juniors which seemed useless before, now would be useful.. All 20 and even 21 yos, would be a key to getting to that junior league money, and they would pay off to some degree in a different way than selling them, it would open up a new path to approaching junior school

In essence this could be the only change we need, with some extras devs talked about already, like international juniors, facilities and shit like that

I never play youth league. In the future I won't play, because it is a time wasting to play with players who have bad skills not a challenge for me. Maybe so many users feel this. So maybe a global can be better for them?

I respect the developers try to do someting, but I only wrote my point of view.

cancel youth league and make U21 league for players to 21y and players from youth schooll...

youth league.... play only one reason... coach prediction could be better... do no watch this league like 90% guys...

youth school need really rework from A to X.
