I support the rules of the game. If this rule had not been established, a club with an average of 70 would have joined here instead of UEFA and would have been the favorite to win the Cup.

Please let's follow the 62 average rules stated at the beginning of the season.

If you cannot follow the rule, you will suffer the consequences.

Ultimately I think the limit should have just been a hard 60, because people are going to try and exploit the rule regardless of what level it's set at. I also think a no substitutions unless injured rule would have been a good idea.

Well 2 points rank was tolerance for some issues can happen if you do 61 you need to do something to prevent going up and that's why as hard as it is we have those 3:0..

I understand the logic but any kind of tolerance is just going to be abused, as you've seen repeatedly with teams now targetting 62.

Its very risky to target 62 because ratings fluctuate and could easily surpass the limit. If anyone does target 62 it is on his own risk and thats not the optimal strategy imo so I don''t see a problem here.

Wel by that logic why not set the tolerance at 65? It's a 50-60 tournament, that's the problem and people signed up for it on that premise. You wouldn't go to the Olympic 100m final and say "Meh, a little bit of steroids is fine but don't overdo it". You're disadvantaging the people who actually want to play by the rules that were set out. The limit is 60, if you can't stay under 60, go and play in the Europa League.

The idea is to target 60 with 2 points tolerance for fluctuation i guess.

And, yes, the Olympics also have a tolerance on testosterone levels above normal levels so as to compensate for fluctuation from natural processes.

BTW, you have 60,09 in your last match so you''re disadvantaging your opponent :)

Link? I don't think I've ever gone over 60 and if I have, I'd still want the game forfeited.

Just checked for myself. Yep, total limit is 660 and my total was 661, but if you think that changes my mind on anything you're wrong. I'm not interested in breaking the rules just because it's in my own self-interest. It's a matter of principle.

I want to make things clear.
Guys, the rules exist and we need to acknowledge them. Next year, we’ll figure out how to improve them.
For now, I just feel like giving a big round of applause and compliments to those who organized all of this.

There’s one specific thing that really bothered me.
Making substitutions 2 minutes before the end, on purpose, just to replace the goalkeeper who, if he doesn’t touch the ball, gets a very low rating, solely to lower the final team rating.
To me, that is INTENTIONAL CHEATING, and it’s disgusting.


I don’t know who said it, but I also vote to remove substitutions to make things easier for the organizers, so they don’t have to do mathematical calculations.

I think an additional tweak to the rules for a future tournament could be automatic 0-3 if an outfield player is over 72 (or maybe if 2 are over). This could be simpler to follow than overall rating. Or make the number even lower.

(Could do a keeper max too but they are always higher)

Because if the spirit of the game was to average 62 I didn't really like to see the loophole of playing a low player of 30 or less and then and 80 striker or mid.

Just seemed to be in poor spirits as well for the 3rd tier tournament (which should be the weakest teams playing lol)
